Re: RIVALS LAST RUN 2020-2021

3 turnovers helped Oregon jump out to a 17 point lead early in the 3rd quarter. We cut their lead down to 7 but couldn't get that final defensive stop, to get the ball back. Tackling was a huge problem on defense and really killed us when Oregon would run the ball. Oregon had officially 10 broken tackles but it was more then that. All my Qbs picks were on me. Oregon beats MSU 41-27.

interesting.. but I guess if the turnovers kicked in that makes sense, they have some dawgs in the secondary.. is this the year you lost a bunch of staters on defense or was that last year?

Their db's didn't make any great plays, it was more me throwing into double coverage trying to avoid sacks on 3rd and long plays on 2 of the ints. Yeah I lost 7 people on defense this yr, 8 if you count my nickel cb.

A&M had a big lead, idk what happened but at one point i believe they were up 14, then the final score popped up and A&M lost by 7.

Re: RIVALS LAST RUN 2020-2021

#10 Georgia vs South Carolina

Game was even to start with both teams moving the ball and getting the board early making it 7-7 in the 2nd. We forced a 3 and out after a sack followed by a 30yd punt return by Carlton which put us in scoring range. It felt like we were about to capitalize off of the momentum but on a cutback run I accidentally pushed the pitch button somehow and they took the ball AND the momentum. They threw a deep ball that was picked off but returned the favor 3 plays later. Fromm threw a pick 6 shortly after as well as a pass to the flats was ran back for 6. They got one more interception and put up 3 before the half to make it 17-7 going into halftime. I pulled Fromm to see if Fields was ready but his first pass showed me he wasnt so I immediately went to option #3, RS FR Jeff Everett who hasnt played a down and wasn't expected to play at all this year and before the half he threw a pick as well.

To start the 3rd SC was still moving the ball slowly but surely, no points however as we forced a punt. Our next drive we pounded it nonstop with Swift and used White on 3 consecutive 3rd and short runs before Swift broke one outside for a 43yd TD to make it 17-14 SC. 3 and out SC, momentum starting to sway, we decide to spread it and give Everett a chance to ball and he leads a 5 play drive all of 10+ yards up until Swifts 2yd goalline plunge to give us a 21-17 lead as the 3rd quarter ended. The 4th stated and we picked up where we left off, 3 and out, Everett leads a drive going 4/5 with Swift putting the stamp on the drive again, 28-17. I kept the hot hand going to see if Everett could show us something but he got hit on a throw that resulted in a second pick. After one more stop by the defense I gave my 2 backs a chance to earn the #2 spot. Dawgs bounce back and will start a Freshman over 2 99overall QBs next week.

The only U5 to start off 1-0... No matter how this season ends we will always remember this moment.
