Didn't have 5 fumbles this time around. UCLA did a good job shutting down Cox this game . Their dline played amazing throughout the game, putting non stop pressure on my Qb. We really couldn't go deep all game outside of 2 throws because of the pressure . Our D played great both times against them. Hopefully it carries over throughout the season but who knows. Our defense hasn't been good since we lost all of our starters a couple yrs ago. MSU beats UCLA 31-13.

#18 Georgia @ LSU

First Half
We came out going run heavy because our backfield is loaded, plus we needed to keep their offense off the field as much as possible. Both teams moved the ball but had to punt to start the game, after our second stalled drive we nailed them on the 1 with a punt. Perfect called blitz with an 8 man front traps them for the safety, but instead Curry goes 99 yards untouched. We score on a long methodical drive on a 1 yd td run to White, last years Heisman winner to make it 7-7. Curry goes straight up the middle again untouched for 75yds this time. 14-7. This drive I go aggressive with pass to make sure we can do it and we cap an 8 play drive with a td. 14. They went up 17-14 the next drive and we get deep into the redzone to tie or take the lead before halftime but throw a pick.

2nd Half
They dont get any huge break aways but their run game takes me down the field. On 3rd they go with a screen, I jump it, so the QB eats the sack and they punt. We put together a great drive and Craig, last years #1 back who redshirted, gets a 20 yd td run that gives us our first lead of the game. 21-17. They get in scoring range after Curry breaks it for 33 before getting caught and settle for a fg to cut the lead to 1. We get in fg range the next drive and throw our second interception in scoring range. With 6 minutes left in the 4th they move it down to take the lead but on 4th and 1 at the 45 we stuff them and get the ball back. 3 and out we punt it back, they stall as well and punt it back with 3:35 left. From there we run the ball like theres no tomorrow before Cook gets in the endzone to seal the deal with 1 minute left and a 28-20 lead. They throw their only pick 2 plays later trying to go deep. Bulldogs beat a tough LSU team on the road.
