still doing the no 3 route rule so it shouldnt get too crazy but it will add some QB run options

Texas got the ball first and after converting 3 long 3rd down plays, kicked a fg. MSU first drive of the game, Pettway threw a bad pick. Texas now deep inside MSU territory, scored a td and took a 10-0 lead. MSU would get on the scoreboard late in the 1st quarter, thanks to a 21 yard td pass. After the first quarter tho, the game turned into a blowout. The back ups came in sometime during the 4th quarter. MSU travels to Austin and beats Texas, 49- 10.

Dominated as we should’ve, probably should’ve also been a lot worse. We couldn’t run the ball very well for whatever reason every back I used including Ricky was slow. Cbs gave up 180 yards on 4 pass plays by just letting the wr go obviously didn’t hurt in this game but it will be an issue all year.

2 Georgia @ Ole Miss

Slow start to the game as our defense couldnt make any big plays when we needed them. Ole miss doesnt have much talent fortunately, we were able to hold them to 3 on the first drive. We didnt do anything on offense and had to punt. They stalled too but on our second drive we threw a pick on the first play. They stall again and Wynn throws another interception on the first play. This time they move it down and get another 3 out of it. Down 6-0 in the 2nd qtr Bennett gets a 44yd KR to get us in good field position. 2 plays later Craig takes a pitch 60yds for the td. 7-6. They get another long drive but come up short on the long FG where Bennett runs it back to midfield. We move the ball into scoring range after a DOT by Wynn but fumble after the catch. 7-6 at the half.

2nd half we get it first and put together a solid drive that ends in a 1 on 1 post to Bennett to give us a 14-6 lead. Both defenses force back to back to back stops as Georgia loses Craig to an elbow injury. Georgia gets a power run drive going that moves the ball into the redzone with Wynn hitting or freshman Manning on another beautiful td pass to start the 4th. 21-6. Ole Miss running out of time tried to flip the momentum but ends up having to go for it on 4th but they fail to complete a deep ball. Craig returns from injury and helps to get Georgia in the redzone but Wynn throws his 3rd int. As Ole Miss tries to take advantage of the extra opportunity Georgia Soph LB Wright intercepts a screen and takes it to the house to put the game away. Georgia wins 28-6 on the road.
