Re: RIVALS LAST RUN 2025-2026

Ohio State @ Wisconsin

1st quarter
Wisconsin would defer to open the game putting the Osu offense on the field. We came out conservative staying balanced all while slowly moving the ball to the Wisconsin redzone. Brooks would drop back on a 1st down and find his TE Johnson open in the middle of a zone. Brooks threw a rocket in between 3 defenders for the first score of the game. Wisconsin would surprisingly come out throwing the ball tacking advantage of the Buckeye cbs hitting pass after pass and occasionally mixing in a run. Wisconsin would get to the Buckeye 21 where first safety Cleveland dropped a sure pick 6 on an out route. The 3rd down play saw Coleman break on a dig route that would’ve been returned a long way as well but he dropped it also. The Badgers would settle for 3 heading towards the end of the 1st.

2nd quarter
Brooks would come out looking to get the run game going but forced to throw on a 3rd down in what looked like man coverage telling him to throw a comeback but the nickel cb Thomas peeled off in zone and Brooks threw it right to him. Jackson and the rest of the o would mix it up more working down to the Osu 5. Facing a 3rd and 4 Jackson would catch the Osu defense off guard with a weakside run as Quinn would scamper around the corner to give the Badgers a 10-7 lead. Osu would respond on another decent drive that was capped off by a 15 yard pass from Brooks to Green to give Osu a 14-10 advantage. Just before halftime Jackson would drive Wisconsin back down the field but were forced into a 40 yard fg with under a minute to go. Perhaps one of the most critical plays of the game the Badgers tried to fake it but Williams was ready giving the Bucks the ball back. Brooks would need just one pass to Montgomery to set up a fg as time expired 17-10.

3rd quarter
Jackson started hot while the run game started to pick up. The Osu defense again would hold for a fg to cut the lead to 17-13. Brooks would lead the Osu offense right back down the field via the run game but with blanket coverage on 3 straight plays he would be sacked on 3rd down forcing one of there own fgs 20-13.

4th quarter
Wisconsin with Jackson at the helm needed very little time to march the length of the field going 6/6 on the drive that ended with the best Wisconsin wr being up from 21 yards out to tie the game at 20. Osu would get busy with Johnson carrying 8 times on the next drive trying to setup a game winning fg. 2nd and 7 as Brooks dropped back looking for gray who had a step but the cb made a leaping swat. Coach decided to play for the fg calling a simple run we got more than enough for a fg as Johnson also rumbled inside the 20. The next Johnson run was another burst inside the 5 that also saw a facemask. At this point we should’ve went victory formation and kicked a fg. Johnson though would score to go up 27-20 with 37 seconds left probably to much time. Jackson hit 2 quick passes moving the ball to there 48. He would then drop back in against a Tampa 2 look and for whatever reason Keith let Jones again run right by him for a 52 yard score to tie it with 18 seconds left. Coach decided to trot out a playcall instead of playing for ot. We decided to put Gray on the opposite side of the formation as he was being shut down, he ran a simple go route and Brooks threw an absolute dart to gray who made 1 of the 3 biggest plays of the game. After a timeout Wisconsin playing 2 high safeties Brooks knew exactly where he was going he just had to make the throw with only 9 seconds left. Montgomery broke on the post just as Brooks threw another laser he made the catch and coach frantically called timeout. The announcers said “and we are going to overtime” however there was 1 second left on the clock and Phillips would hit the 40 yarder for his team to escape Madison.

Re: RIVALS LAST RUN 2025-2026

Update boys:

Since nobody answered my question about which settings yal wanted yal messed around and let me and JP have a conversation about it, and when me and JP have conversations mountains get moved lol

I made a few changes that should give us a medium between the 2, even tho they wont fully kick in until next week Ive already seen some of the changes so here's what to expect just so you know:

- user tackling is still at 25 (big hits, elite players break tackles, average players rarely do)
- cpu running from 95 to 100 (might not make a difference but hopefully they'll finish 1 or 2 more drives a game)
- DB coverage for both has been tightened through the penalty sliders (you will see more DBs actually next to their man on slants etc, it will feel like mirroring but its not)
- CPU ints from 95 to 65 (to balance out the tighter coverage you'll see less warped picks if any)

the main difference is the tight coverage, you need to know that so you dont take sacks thinking the passes will get picked. Youll see more deflections instead, I had my brother play last night so I could just watch. We'll try these changes through week 8 and assess from there but after seeing it so far it looks and feels way more realistic

Re: RIVALS LAST RUN 2025-2026

2 GEORGIA @ MIAMI

before I give the write up I gotta say these settings feel way different for user games already.. offense felt alot more explosive but we also both had periods where the defense shut us down completely.. good balance, chess matches are byke

1st
Craig takes the opening kick back 106 yds, Breezy already knew what it was. 7-0. A few plays a 24 yard pass to the TE Craig busts a 38yd td run up the middle. 14-0. Torretta Jr takes a deep shot from the middle of the field but Georgia SS Godfrey gets his first of 2 ints. Georgia gets 2 runs to set up a deep shot and Wynn finds Bennett for a 51 yd bomb in 1 on 1. 21-0.

2nd
Miami now in panic mode goes pass heavy and the result is a deep back shoulder throw to Strong who makes 2 men miss on his way to a 34yd. 21-7. UGA goes 3 & out and on the punt Crews breaks a few tackles and takes it 64yds before the punter saves a td, but on 1st down Torretta hits his TE on a beautiful route to make it 21-14. Both defenses step up the rest of the half before Miami makes a push late in the half, however on another back shoulder throw to strong, UGA CB Bailey picks off the pass.

3rd
Both teams stall before Torretta throws another interception to Bailey and Georgia responds with a 3rd Craig rushing td. 28-14. Miami stalls again and UGA gets 3 on a long fg on the next possession. 31-14. Miami gets a little more luck to go their way as a simple pass to the TE turns into 61 yds to cut the lead to 10. 31-21.

4th
Georgia takes the momentum back after hitting Bennett on an open out route then he shakes 2 defenders at the same time and goes for 46yds and his 2nd td. 38-21. Torretta throws another pick to the SS Godfrey and Georgia makes Miami pay again with a seem pass to the TE for a 17yd td. 45-21. Torretta throws his 5th int to FS Barr with 6:30 left in the game. Georgia goes to the grown to start chewing away at the clock but a speed option from Wynn to Craig turns into a 55 yd dagger to Miami. The Canes would get one more lucky score but thats all she wrote. 52-28.

Craig was the Player Of The Game with 185 rushing yds 202 kick return yds and 4 total tds

GG Breezy
Score doesnt show it but the stats do, the picks did him in, he had that offense hummin tho

Re: RIVALS LAST RUN 2025-2026

1st half was pretty boring tbh. We had a 21-0 lead late in the 2nd quarter, when Northwestern got a fg. On our next drive we hit a 64 yard td pass. 2nd half Northwestern got going on offense (broken tackles every where) but never got close. MSU beats Northwestern 44-21.
