"OMAHA" College World Series...

Figured I would start the thread. Just leaving for Omaha in a few minutes and getting ready to stand in line for tickets. Should be an exciting weekend.

Who is everybody's favorite? I'm going with Nebraska. Hometown favorite in Omaha and has been on a roll the last few weeks. They were probably most impressive last weekend out of everybody and have good pitching depth.

Man have fun... I loved it when I went, but get there early or your gonna get stuck in the bleachers and you won't believe how damn hot it is! But trust me it was one of the greatest weeks of my life. As for favorite I'll go with OSU because they won the sectional with UVA in it.

I'll be there too, rooting for my alma mata Huskers. Hopefully, they'll at least win a game this time out. Should be a good time regardless. Always is.

Ill be at a friends house *thats the plan* tomorrow night to watch Baylor and Texas..hopefully Baylor can make it 5 in a row over the Longhorns this year.

kid from Florida Horne is pitching good. And this is after Tommy John surgery he's a first round pick but I didn't hear what team. He's impressed me more than the guy from UT who was a first round pick by the Dodgers.

Unfortunately I'm going on vacation (leaving saturday) so I really won't have a chance to go up to Omaha to catch a few games. I wouldn't even mind seeing a game that NU isn't even playing in. But I'm going over to my buddy's house to watch the NU game tonight.

I was just looking at his profile on the Gators site, says he was a first round pick out of high school in 2001. He was drafted again by the Yankees this year in the 11th round.
