Why are they important? I mean after one year of franchise the rosters are not real world anymore anyways. So for me regardless of when then game comes out ,roster updates are not an issue...

I understand why some want them, so of course I hope all those that want them get them. It's just not a biggie to me.

Yes, the season starts in April. But the rosters for High Heat were probably finalized in December sometime. That's a long time before spring training. I'll be very surprized if they have the recent changes such as Colon on the White Sucks. Sorry, I'm an Indian fan so I'm bitter.

It's a smart play (business-wise).

I too will buy the game to get my fix. As long as the rosters are customizable and there is a fair amount of editability it shouldn't be a problem.

They've probably been working on the game since the day they shipped the last one so I don't think being early necessarily means being rushed.

Madden was released a full month before the season started.
