which do you feel was the best ps3 version of PYS and why?

I am looking to get another one, but i want the best.

The current one, PYS 2014, is the best version yet. Konami have been steadily improving this game, with a few missteps here and there (PYS 2012), and last year's version, PYS 2013, was the culmination of all of the developers' efforts. Some much needed improvements were made to the pitching mechanics that brought the pitching very close to being every bit as fun and challenging as the batting. Well, with 2014, they have taken all of those improvements, and polished them to a brilliant shine, while smoothing out a few minor rough edges in terms of bugs (the PYS series is known for being mostly bug-free out of the box).

If the price of the new version seems too steep for you, I would say you can't go wrong getting 2013, which I'm sure you can find at a good price now. But I highly recommend getting 2014 if you can afford it. It is hands down the best baseball video game I have ever played.

2014 is the best yet, but 2013 is also a very good version that costs about half as much.

If you can afford it, go with 2014.

If money is not an issue, get 2014. It's amazing and worth every penny.

I would add 5 Kanzenban to the list. Without a doubt 2014 is the very best and 2013 is a close second shame it has the cutoff throw from the outfield bug. 2010 is a great game much easier than 13 and 14 to hit at least for me. 5K is a special game and way ahead of it's time. I would get all of them if money is no object to tell the truth.

No online codes required to play the game but online play is over for 2013.
