Why can't you upgrade for free from the PS3 version of RBI Baseball 14?

The game pretty much looks the exact same, also supposedly the PS3 version is getting the new roster and online play in an update on a future. So for those who spent $20 on RBI Baseball 14 before the PS4 version even got a release date, we should be able to download RBI Baseball 14 on our PS4 and play on that.

This way people who bought RBI Baseball 14 and sold their PS3's or don't have it hooked up to the TV or want to play it on the PS4 can still play the game that they bought.

It's all up to the publisher to decide whether or not they want their games to support cross-buy.

Sony doesn't have the power to force companies to make their games cross-buy.

Certainly, that is one thing that could have added some more value to RBI Baseball 14's $20 price point.
