Played 2k7 the other night and couldn't believe how good it looked and played. If they had stayed on that track where would they be today?

dodger, what made 2K7 a great game?
I didn't get involved with the 2K series until 2K11 so I'm curios how the series evolved.

Thanks!

2K7 was the best and the farthest I had ever gotten in a Franchise. Unfortunately, it was the last year I played 2K as it just fell off the cliff after that.

Can't speak on the PC side but for 360, the game was good. However, the game was a homerun fest, no matter what the sliders. Also, was very choppy in the field, not sure how to explain it as the transitions between fielding and throwing were good, the overall experience in the field was hard to follow.

Also, hitting was hard to tell balls from strikes. Personally, I like 2k12 better but 2k7 player models were much better, except the hurricane jerseys.

2k was on a great track with the game. IF, 2k12/2k13 looked better it would have sold more. It really is, speaking about 2k12 specifically (especially with Mkharsh33's rosters and my attribute edits) a great game of baseball. Pitching and hitting battles are completely unmatched.

As an Xbox One owner I am hopeful they return with a game.

Re: 2K BRING BACK YOUR MLB SERIES...

I remain perplexed with this whole business of video game marketing.

I originally entered the last gen. with the Xbox 360. I liked the system and tolerated the 2k baseball games. In 2008, I made the move to the PS3 because of the need for a better baseball game. I remained partially torn because I did like the 360 and kept it around for about everything else.

Well, I entered this new gen. with the PS4; never even giving the XBox1 a consideration. This is what perplexes me: I am assuming that a vast market lies untapped by not providing a quality baseball title that particular system.

To me it's like the NFL not having a franchise in Los Angeles; there has to be some way possible to make it work.
