On fire is definitely broken. Any shot you can get off while on fire within half court should be a guaranteed make regardless of shot release.

I also have encountered this broken "on fire". I got on fire, launched a 3 just past half court and missed. I was in shock since I thought I recalled hitting it everytime in the good old classic NBA JAM. Very disapointed!
