At the top of your screen it should be a tab with your coach name you created. Click on the tab and commissioner should be selectable.

To be able to edit players you must start a career then switch over to commissioner mode and export the database.

You can view the database in Microsoft Access 2010 or a free database editor like MDB viewer plus.

Just save the database after editing and click import within the commissioner mode.
You can only edit players after starting a career? How would we then go about choosing our own team for our own career?

I'm trying to find an alternative.

There is a import roster file option but it doesnt seem to work for me.

But I THINK (havent tried yet) we can go into the editor and switch teams and coach positions (along with our name) we just have to switch our TeamID number with another coach currently in the database (deleting will currupt file)

I also read over at the other forum that they didnt include a players table in the default dat file (to fill players with so it wont randomize) because tgey disnt think people would use it to fill real life players with.

Hopefully they could patch it in or if someone they is knowledgeable with database editors could create such a table.

But if we were to put together the real life players, their pictures would be replaced with the ones we give them, right? Or would they continuously randomize?

As long as both the picture file and the players/coaches names are the same they will always match.

Anthony Davis = anthony_davis.jpg

We will have to Download the picture file along with the saved game.

Also if someone want to make a photo megapack it would help very much.

Photos needs to be 65 x 90 in jpg/jpeg format.

Photos should be easily obtained from the school's athletic site.

Just name the image "firstname_lastname.jpg" all lower case letters.

Coaches and players need to be in a separate folder.

Re: Any news at all regarding a new college game?

If I get time, I could collect some pictures for you, but you would have to let me know how to put together a megapack. Can you tell I'm new to this? Should I make a new folder in the DDS:CBB2 folder on my computer for player photos? Let me know and I'll do what I can.

May I suggest we start a new thread to keep track of everything we're doing in case others want to jump in and help?

You could just create 2 random folder in your PC and name one as "Players" and the other as "Coaches" (if you decide to do both)

Then place the images in its respective folder.

To get them to work inside the game just drag the folders into the game's graphic folder under "player" or "coaches"
