They should have let another studio create the game. I still don't understand what was the point of creating an average game (at best) that I don't think even sold well. Why would you do that? And why would you keep doing it for several years without making real changes that would make it better and sell better?

Help me out Sony, please. If some Sony guy ever reads this, please enlighten me. I am totally serious, I want to know.

I can't understand how a game that was developed by the same studio that makes the MLB The Show series can make such a subpar game. I hope Sony decides to retake the franchise and makes serious changes in order to make a next gen NBA game. Do they still have the NBA license? Maybe they can surprise us in the near future announcing a next gen basketball game.

Yea I don't understand that either (how same studio as MLB The Show created NBA 09). The front page basically described why I couldn't believe that. MLB The Show has a lot of customizable things in the roster section and NBA 09 has basically nothing. MLB The Show has amazing graphics, NBA 09 not so much.

Yeah, and why is everyone ignoring the "How do you dribble behind the back?" question. Possible answer: People don't know, or it's just that many "everyones" weren't brave enough to play the game. Can we blame them?

So it's the same studio that makes The Show? Are they actually the same people? Baseball guys created an NBA game? Could it be?

Didn't Kwame Brown do some mo-cap for NBA '09? I mean, every basketball player can contribute, as long as he's a pro, but did Sony try to save money or what?

As youvalss said very few people must have played the game and maybe they haven't seen the topic to help you or nobody knows.
I personally have only played the demo like a year ago but I don't remember anything about the controls to help you. Have you tried finding help online?

I'm not sure if the exact same people from MLB did NBA 09 but that shouldn't be right, it would be like what happened with Elite with the hockey guy being in charge of the game.

From what I know Nick Young, Josh Smith, and Kwame Brown did mo-cap. Is that part of the reason the animations weren't that good in that game?

Never actually played the game, so I can't comment on that, but Kwame Brown? Seriously? They would have been better off if they'd gotten mo-cap from a rock.

No I don't think was Josh Smith. It was Jason Smith who used to play for the Bucks but is currently playing for the Hornets.
