NBA 2k13 and I don't even think its the 'newest game' excitement with my vote. NBA 2k11 was awesome and I beat the brakes off it but 2k13 has put me right back into that 'happy place'.

I used to love ID 2000, and played it much more than Live 2000. That game was good.

I also played ID 2002 and 2003 when I bought a used Xbox 2 years ago. 2002 was fun but kind of arcadish. 2003 felt better to me, but I didn't get the chance to play 2004 - which according to some here was ahead of its time gameplay-wise.

If I remember correctly, ID 2002 and on had some tendencies and some nice edits. I think it also had dribbling on the right stick (as alternate controls, if I'm not mistaken). Those games were fun.

Haven't played 2k13 yet, but thus far, 2k11 gets my vote.

Since I've waited this long to play 2K13 I guess I might as well wait till Black Friday to pick it up. Haven't played 2K13 aside from the demo but of all the games I have played I like NBA Live 10 the best.
