Hell, I don't even care if the rosters are completely random. Just give me real teams, updated jerseys, fight songs, conferences, schedules, venues, etc. and let the community roster makers deal with accurate rosters.

Totally agree. Really wish we had some updated venues in the game, i.e., Lucas Oil Stadium, Georgia Dome, Madison Square Garden, etc. Adds that much more realism to what I still consider the best sports video game of all-time.

I believe the issue is that the NCAA may have temporarily jacked up the licensing fee due to the lawsuit. Plus, it wouldn't have made sense for any company to put resources into a game that would be profitable for one year, and then you'd have to completely remake it a year later when the new consoles came out.

Someone will give it another shot at some point. My guess was that EA would release a game with their new NBA series last year, but when that didn't happen, I think the best bet is to just wait until next-gen. I was looking at 2K's NBA sales and I'll just say this: It would be odd if they didn't give College Hoops another try at some point. They are dominating the basketball market. Might as well develop an engine (or use the current one), carry it over to an NCAA game, and just add some game-modes.

I was thinking about this the other day and had an epiphany. Why doesn't someone (I say someone because I don't have the time or money to do this) start a website called "bringbackcollegehoops.com or whatever the F you want to call it. Have a petition portion on it and if you visit the site, sign the petition. I am willing to bet even guys that are only mildly interested in college basketball would visit this site and sign the petition. Hell, right now I would pay $150.00 for a new college hoops game.

Just my thoughts. May be a dumb idea, but anything is better than another 5 years without a new game. (Not counting EA's feeble effort in 2010. Although, I feel they were on the right track with the presentation)

Definitely not a dumb idea, but I think someone brought up this idea somewhere else over here, and the consensus was that you'd really have to double up. There would be both a hefty licensing fee, having someone to develop the games, and then giving them money to develop it.

It's certainly not impossible, but I wouldn't bet on that being the way we get a college basketball title.

Hopefully at E3 EA will announce they are bringing back NBA Live and NCAA basketball as package deal lol I can dream right?

Hi Guys Check this MMO Sport game out its called Freestyle Street Basketball its one of the best games I've ever played. You can level up, customize your clothes, the gameplay is amazing and its fast pace. I hope you enjoy this game as much as I do. sorry I was off topic on this thread.
