Yeah, that's the key (Rondo drive). If all these features work, it looks great. Now just need to do some testing to see if they work properly.

Does it have any multiplayer features or is it single player only? I use the DDS games for my league but teams can set lineups, strategies, etc, and export for the simmer to import. Wonder if there is anything like this?

I haven't noticed any multiplayer options.

There isn't a demo which is unfortunate.

Basketball Pro Management 2015

Got to the offseason. Dallas swept Cleveland in the Finals. The final standings were ok, the teams you expected to do well had a good season and teams like Philly sucked. I was surprised that I managed to get Boston to 49 wins without much management throughout the season. Green and Bradley had career years as they are overrated in the game. Rondo was spot on with stats though. Rondo only recorded 8 apg but his passing should be higher than what it is imo.

On the international side, Barca was dominate and it was cool to see all 3 tiers of Euro League in the game. It was also cool to see Marbury in China lol

I didn't notice any draft lottery but I may have simmed passed it. The Draft itself was underwhelming, it was just a pop up screen (background darkened) with a bunch of players listed to choose from. After my pick was selected the screen change to the draft order and players selected. The ratings of the players were display during selection but being that I didn't do any scouting during the season and leading up to the draft, most of the ratings were hidden. I could not select a player to view his player card and look at his stats but even if I could NCAA players does not record any stats despite all the scores being viewable.

There were a good amount of top young international players in the draft and some were selected too early for my liking. International players had stats but I could not view them until after the draft was over.

Im not sure if the ability to stash a player overseas is in the game or not.

Im currently in July again and I will talk more about contracts later but there are different types of contracts you can offer and each of them have their perks. A Super Star contract is an option and its pretty much a max contract. The game recommends only signing two players to this contract so you won't run into money problems.

Im not really sure if their are player/team options if they are I don't see a way to offer them but they might be tied to contract types as a Rookie contract already have the team option built in. I have to find out about RFA also.

Both are listed as 2* players.

Not a bad first impression on AI trading...

Edit- turns out that the draft pick was a 1st rounder. Its still July so the lakers maybe trying to compete? On the other hand Denver dumps Aaron's salary and gets a draft pick for 2015. Young is expiring.

I've gotten an email stating that one of my players left for his national team. Cool

The World Cup was played over the summer USA went 5-0 in the group stages but lost in the semi finals to Croatia 66-71

Germany defeated Croatia in the final 71-75 Dirk scored 11

Croatia also elimnated Spain in the QF 69-73

Thats not too realistic USA not winning, that would tick me off like it would IRL if that happened, lol. Game sounds pretty good for the most part, I might check it out, but I actually would prefer just a college game for a text sim, than I would the NBA. Still I might check it out just to see if it soemthing I might like. Im might very good with PC's, actually Im as dumb as you can get when it comes to PC's so things need to be pretty simplified for me to use, otherwise I know I will screw things up, and even then I might still mess things up knowing me.

The scoring leaders as far as ppg seem on point its just that some guys may be massively overrated.

...For example MCW is averaging 27 ppg shooting 50% lol I wish that was true for my Sixers. Good thing this game has an editor. From looking at his ratings, he's definitely overrated.

Kyrie Irving is leading the league in scoring with 29 ppg. Pierce despite being past his prime is having the best year of his career averaging 28.5 ppg. Yea, there is some work to be done n that editor!

The team scoring seem a little high as every team is averaging just over 100 ppg with the leader averaging 109. FG% are on point though.

Oh btw, Jose Calderon is apparently the best PG in the NBA right now (I smell a top PG list thread lol)

He's having a crazy season averaging 11.5 apg on top of 24 ppg...Knicks finally got a FA signing right!

Also the menus are not the easiest to navigate. You have to look for stuff instead of everything being presented to you (like the information on what draft pick a team traded for example)

There are too many clicks to get to certain things for example the ability to view player stats for a specific team are buried in the menus.

Almost forgot about the NCAA (goes back to things being buried)

There is conference tourney play. Downside is that every conference has the same format and even the Ivy league has a tourney.

I'm in December and some tournaments have already been played.

Game have tons of potential. Im just OCD when it comes to details like stats, etc...

There's no All-Star game.

Well that was short lived, knowing stats arent realistic, guess I wont get it, cause stats Im very OCD about. Its why I have always had trouble enjoiying NBA2k along with them being a company full of people who lie.

Like someone said its too bad the people who make OOTP baseball dont get into basketball, but there is probably a reason OOTP is so good, they are avid baseball fans, and for any game to be good the makers have to be avid fans of that sport.

Are you finding strategies work? I'm getting fed up with the wolverine games and strategies that have no effect.

Yes as far as the tactics they work really well. Players followed their instructions to best of their ability. The create plays feature seems bugged so I cant speak on that but like I mention before the quick play option is responsive.

Strategy look good played out in 2d, 3D is not working for me so I cant speak on it.

Some players need to be edited. The output of stats are pretty good its just some players are overrated.

Euro league stats seem ok at first glance. You can clearly see the difference between NBA and Europe as a guy scoring 20 a game would lead the league in scoring.
