NBA LIVE The One Vs 2K My Career

Wsup Live fans,

It maybe time for me to jump on this ship after being loyal to 2k for 7 years in a row. They completely lost me after last years My Career which is pretty much the only mode I play.

I've watched a lot of Youtube videos and done a lot of reading but can someone tell me the big differences among the 2 ? Which one do you like and why? Is there My Park? Lastly is there VC or skill points actually earned with practice?

Thanks in advance.

There is no park BUT you can play LIVE RUNS with others and do community challenges. So far the one is real fun! You can play in the league or the streets which is 5v5 pro am to 21

I prefer this in replay value than 2K18. Online in LIVE is FUN! And I'm not even an online gamer.

Call me a convert.

Okay so I made the switch and played this game last night and..... O U C H

I really really wanted to like this game and I really tried hard to find the positives but unfortunately there are not any. If you reading this I just saved you $60 + tax so keep reading why I hated it.

1. Graphics, graphics, graphics. Live is (without exaggerating) about 3-4 years behind when it comes to graphics. Everything from player movement, physical looks, to animation such as dunking is very poor. Player dunks look like they are high fiving the rim instead of grabbing. All player body types look off. There is no muscle definition or attention to detail. From someone that has been playing 2k since 2010 trust me when I say this it's really 2k14 graphics maybe even 2k13 really.

2. Game-play is awful. I mean awful awful the movement is sluggish and it even stutters.

3. The commentating is dry sounds bad and doesn't even go with the game. The One mode feels so stale when they talk compared to 2K when they talk about the player you actually created.

4. Overall as noted live is years and years behind. It also doesn't help that they are stealing ideas from 2k and not being original. For example the mode The One is pretty much a complete rip from 2K's My Career. Everything from the badge system, the nick name The Hype Brothers aka Orange Juice due from 2k, the text messages and so much more. The only difference is the ESPN cut scenes. But, other then that I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last year Live tries to make basketball games since they fell so behind of 2k.

Sad but true game is on Ebay as we speak. Back to 2k no competition. I really will never understand how people said this game is good compared to 2k? I'm confident those people never really played 2k to being with or else they would see what I saw.

Play it more and try to play at a slower pace, no constant turbo. Set up half court offenses and try to play it like what you see in real games. Also, remember this aint 2k. Have fun.

Doesn't matter what pace I play I can't get past the graphics and announcer. It's 2018 but game plays and looks like 2005.
I can't compare this with 2k at all and wish it was close for me to say next year it will be toe to toe competition but not even close.

If you can compare this to 2k17s or 16 for that matter then might as well go back to Nintendo. Maybe if I didn't play a single 2k game I woudon't feel so negative. Sorry guess I like good graphic games that look modern
