Varsity High School Football Video Game in Development - Here's What We Know So Far

Why does this look better than Maximum Football.

I am super excited about this. I hope there is a focus on homecoming, bands, cheerleading and such. Some sort of incorporation of grades and classroom focus. PAL and youth league farming also will add to longevity. If you put neighborhood focus on your youth league teams, it will help with keeping your football program stable. Keeping an active program will be the difference between kids coming to your public school program or losing them to bigger private school programs. Just a few tidbits about the High School aspect of how longevity can increase. Just in case you guys don't have a college type game as an additional add-on to move kids from the high school game. But I must say this is the type of game that i've wished for.

Sorry for being negative but I can't think of a single reason why anyone would want a football game featuring children as players. It's just weird.

There's always one, huh? You've apparently never heard of the success that was had with the Backyard Football franchise when it was around. Those were literal children. This is different.


I feel like this will grab at the nostalgia strings of so many that played high school ball. It's a great concept and seems to be on the right track with development.

There are over 1 million kids that play HS football in America. That was a large data point when we did our market research.

But we also wanted to focus on something different than the other games out there and the ones on their way (EA College Football).
