Re: ESPN & CFL!!!!

I agree if they can put out a college game that would work but if that doesn't occur I believe the first ever CFL game with an unbelievable franchise mode would do a decent job selling

Re: ESPN & CFL!!!!

If Sega/VC has a Canadian division then yes that would be the way to go at least here in Canada. I'd love to play a CFL game but it just wouldn't work south of the border. Their best shot is to make a College game but I wouldn't complain over a CFL one!

I'm not going to lie, because of their supperior game engine, I would play any format that Sega/VC releases next year, be it CFL or College.

I would just play as my Argos!!

I'd prefer College, but either way, I'm buying a Sega/VC football game if one releases next year.

Re: ESPN & CFL!!!!

I think they'd be more likely to try to do something with Arena football.

Have you read that somewhere Fetter, or is that just your opinion?

Because I think that, with the rule set Arena football has, and the small confines of the field. I think it doesnt translate well in comparison to College and NFL Football.

I think the larger field of the CFL would actually translate better than Arena football.

That is however, just my opinion.

I'm praying for college, but CFL would work for me as well.

Re: ESPN & CFL!!!!

I know i'd buy ESPN CFL 2k6... but ESPN doesnt air CFL games right?

And the game won't sell good in the US...

But with the NHL in a lockout, the most watched sport there is canadian football

Just wondering if ESPN VC would ever consider a move like this, please feel free to comment on this issue.

Just an opinion, since I know that a CFL game would translate better from the past games, but as for sales I think at least the Arena league seems to be getting more popular while most of people in the US don't know of or care at all about the CFL. So if they made an Arena game and kept the price at $20 seems like it might do ok.
