Football all year?

Does anyone here play video football all year? someone I know plays NCAA nonstop, until the next title shows up. I've tried, but when baseball season comes around...well,you know the rest of the story. He says plenty of people stay with football and don't even touch baseball, what's your take on this?

When it comes to gaming, I'm about 92 % football (2K, Madden, Gameday, Fever, NCAA), 6 % other sports games, and 2 % other gaming. I play several games of football a week during the season, but that definitely tapers off during offseason. This year, MLB 2K7 looks like it will be very good - I may just play it until APF 2K8 is released.

i play fb all year...though interspersed in that is mlb, ncaa and nba and a little action/adventure to break the monotony. if apf2k8 is any good, i think my fb gaming will increase. as it is, i've gone thru 3 2k5 discs on my ps2 and have played about 300 games of fpf franchise mode alone. man...i gotta get out more.

You don't need to get out more-sounds like your'e having fun. And that's what it's all about. I've played the daylights out of NCAA on the 360. I shouldn't have traded it off after the season ended. I just recently saw it price reduced to 30 dollars. After talking to my friend,I was thinking of restarting again.

I really split my sports gaming up. I play 'em all but rarely finish a season unless it's football. I did however finish an entire season and playoffs in NHL 07 for 360 (what a great game!)

But yeah, I'll buy Arena Football: RTG and be playing that now, and then I plan on getting NCAA 08 and APF2K8 later, not sure about Madden though

i thought about trading ncaa on the 360, but the other day i was jonesing for some college football atmosphere and i played a great game using my mizzou tigers vs. the vandy commodores...that tailback they've got, i think his name is casson jackson, something like that, is a beast. but, i hear you; ncaa is a pretty good game, and because of it not having specific player faces in the game, i will keep and play next year if ncaa 08 is not great. having said that, glad to here other guys are year rounders liike me.

Think I'll be right back in there with you and everyone else Piston Pete. And your'e right, this game could be timeless due to the selection of teams and "generic-ness" of faces. I used the Fresno Bulldogs and we had a good season last year! good luck with your dynasties.
