Heisman 11: A Madden 08 PC mod

A large group of members over at http://football-freaks.com created an NCAA mod for Madden 08(PC). It's been a long project and version 1.0 is out and available to download. Heisman 11 - version 1.0 - 7/4/10 - includes:
New splash screen, New menu backgrounds, New menu players, New loading screens, New ESPN music, New in-game music, New ESPN-U scoreboard, all completed texmod work (missing UNC stadium, rose bowl game stadium, and sugar bowl game stadium), and several playbooks. Rosters are NOT up to date for this version; some are from the 2008 season, some are 2009, some are 2010, and some are random players.

Yes, it's still being worked on. We are currently working on ratings for the roster. We have almost completed all uniforms for the teams in the mod. Do i need to get an actual copy of madden 08 for the pc, or can I get a digital copy like I did for ootp 12.

A digital copy will be just fine. Football-Freaks has been defunct for a while now, but I believe you can still access files and mods for Madden 08 here: http://www.footballidiot.com/forum/v...00d90d8d9c9076

Actually the digital copy doesn't work with Texmod and that's what is used to install our patches. So get the disk version of the game.

Thanks for the football idiot link. I recently reinstalled Madden 08, as I needed a football fix, and got some mods from there. After FF closed, I was afraid mods were gone forever...

Now to learn text mod so I can update stadiums!

Man, I was looking for a copy of this a few weeks ago and saw it was going for like $50 - $80.

That's double the price of Madden 12 lol
