Thoughts on best next gen football game?

You can probably get Head Coach 09 online for under $5. It basically is the best (and most fun) franchise mode I've ever played.

If you come up with some coach mode sliders for either of those games feel free to share with the rest of the class. Your Madden coach mode sliders were the GOAT and I still use them when playing older versions of the game.

Head Coach wasn't my cup of tea at all.

All Pro Football 2K8 is better than anything Madden has put out but it's inexplicable lack of a player editor (no NFL license and you leave out a player editor?), no franchise mode, and lack of depth in single season mode knock it down a few notches. I know there's a player editor out there but there should be one IN the game. By the way, I haven't figured out how to work that player editor.

Every football game I've played since the Sega genesis has been easy to exploit. From the old games right up to Madden 12 you can always find plays that will work all the time. You just need to have the inner strength not to use them.

What exploits are there in All Pro Football 2K8 outside of the fade route, the hurdle button, and some cheap field goal block techniques?

I've been playing the game since it came out and can't think of anything else beyond that list.

Besides, if you pulled any of those tactics in an online league, you would get booted.
