It wouldnt surprise me to see them intergrate the AFL into Madden.

Just had to take a shot at Madden? AFL is a minor league. It is NOT the NFL. None of the AFL gimmicks are right for NFL football. 2 games. That's like integrating softball into baseball.

Actually, it's more like putting NFL Europe into Madden, isn't it? By your own admission the AFL is a "minor league" that the NFL occasionally draws talent from, much like NFL Europe. And I don't think jcarr71 was taking a shot at Madden at all, so chill.

NFL Europe is to the NFL as NBDL is to the NBA. By the way, didn't Madden 04 have NFL Europe teams?

I don't mean to bump a dead thread, but I feel the need to elaborate on what I said. I don't see how you could interpret that as taking a shot at Madden. They could just add AFL rules in there as an alternate game mode, while including AFL teams and stadiums to choose. Thats all I meant.

They would have to make an entire new engine.

it'll be hard to add a AFL mini game into Madden...it'll be a lot of work. I rather them make it a whole different game at a bargain price like ESPN. Arena football is a lot different then regular football.
