Is this not a confirmation?

In speaking with Damon Grow, who is working on the game, it has been revealed to us that Joe Montana Football is back and will indeed be revealed at this year's E3.

One user claims the fact that Grow spoke this confirmation to a site rather than officially posting it on Twitter is skeptical.

HOWEVER, I'd like to remind you that the last two OFFICIAL short clips of gameplay were shared with Gedden and Moody, YouTube channels...

Also, he and Montana follow this site and even Grow himself tweeted last night that this week is crunch time, which essentially means E3 is rounding the corner for them.

And, if the guy who wrote this article were lying, why would he HIMSELF explicitly state that his team will be interviewing with Damon?

:Our very own Eric Webster will be at E3 where he'll be speaking with Damon and those involved who will be "doing everything at E3 this year"

C'mon, OS, think about this.

Besides, doesn't JM16 only give you guys more publicity?

Re: Is this not a confirmation?

If you want to know why they're not allowing discussion, think of which website has some of the earliest access to the biggest sports game on the market. And then remember that this game just so happens to be a competitor of JM16. For better or worse, they know on which side their bread is buttered.

Just stop trying man, they have their reasons why they won't let us discuss anything we don't need any more guys being banned, it hurts the site

Honestly the community doesn't need OS. We've done just fine without them. There have been other forums that have opened up dedicated to the game that are full of members (edited for advertsiement) and there's always YouTube and Twitter. I'm simply here arguing them because the case I present is logical. If they want to go ahead and remain stubborn, idgaf. But logistically they know and we all know that this IS a REAL game. Be that way, OS. Hopefully the community doesn't present some backlash at you guys when you finally allow discussion.

Is this what we're going to do? Just give up? Fine we can stop pestering them but let's not let it be in the name of fear.

Yeah, that's totally why there's an article linked directly below this post which details another officially announced football game.

Is it really that hard to wait a few more days without turning another thread into ridiculous speculation and flame wars?

Yes, because Axis football is clearly meant to be seen as a serious competitor to Madden.

I stand corrected.
