Revolution Squeeze Past Red Bulls in Second Friendly

Gillette Stadium - Fresh off the heels of a 3-3 draw in their first friendly, the Bulls looked to hang tough against a strong Revs squad. A cold rainy night in Massachusetts saw both teams haveing a hard time controlling the ball. With the score level at 0-0 heading into the second half, the Red Bulls switched up their formation to a 4-3-3 looking for more offense. The only problem with that was too many turnovers and at the 67th minute the Revolution netted the only goal of the game by Edgaras Jankausas. Final score of this one, 1-0 Revs.

Scout Sent to Africa

New Jersey -
New Red Bulls manager Chris Esposito, 0-1-1 so far in the first 2 friendlies of his coaching carreer, has sent a scout to Africa on a full trip to look for a new striker. The move has Red Bull fans excited, realizing that Espo wants this team to win.
" Well I look at it this way, we have talent, I mean Angel is one of the top strikers in the MLS, but as with most things in this world, why just settle with what you have when you can go out there and get just a little bit more." I think what the coach didnt want to say was that Angel is 35 years old, and nearing the end of his run in professional soccer. Looking in Africa is a big step for the Red Bulls, hopefully finding a true speed striker that can come off the bench now, and eventually step in and compliment Linpere or Chinn in the long run.

Have you upgraded your scout a bit? A scout of 7 or higher gets you pretty decent players that can greatly affect the MLS

I don't think the MLS starts with that high of a scout do they? And he only has a couple of million to buy players so unless he is 6 scout I wouldn't use the money yet.

my scout is a 4, since im new to the whole scout and manager thing i just wanted to try it out, once i get more money ill upgrade lol

Bulls Still Winless in Friendly Campaign

Another game, another loss. The Red Bulls came back to New Jersey for their last home friendly against Italian soccer club Udinese.If for nothing else the Red Bull wanted to show that they can hang with the big boys, and for 65 minutes they did until Alexis Alejandro Sanchez netted a header off a corner kick to make it 1-0. Then trying to play catch up, the Udinese mid field and defenders just man handled the Red Bull front. Udinese added one more goal and the game ended 2-0.
