Here's a look at our central defenders. Not a pretty picture is it?

I think we're going to allow a bunch of goals. We might have to outscore our defense.

The good news is that only Tim Ream is on the wrong side of 30.

Here's a look at our defensive midfielders. I don't even think I had three defensive midfielders at West Brom.

Not a lot of speed and acceleration out of this group but I wasn't expecting that out of this position. Still McDonald is so slow and FIFA puts such an emphasis on speed that I don't think he'll dress much.

I’ve continued to follow and enjoy this, despite not understanding anything about the league stuff. The last place team goes to something called “Championship”? That seems backwards!

Sure it's the "Championship" but it's not "Premier"

I haven't played a season in the Championship since like FIFA 06 when I took Middlesbrough to the Premier League. I remember the season felt so long. Fourty-six games may not seem a lot more than 38 games but it felt like dozens more.

We only have two so-called attacking midfielders but Scotland's Tom Cairney looks like he's going to be head and shoulders above most of our opponents in the Championship. Looking forward to seeing what he can do out there.

Here's a look at the rest of our central midfielders.

It turns out both Zambo Anguissa and Seri started the season on loan. We will be recalling them before the Championship season begins because these two studs should absolutely own opponents.

I'm pretty excited about the depth here. There's no reason we shouldn't be back in the Premier League after this season.

It's taking me forever to go through the roster but I'm happy with what we have in terms our attacking wingers for a team in the Championship.

Cavaleiro looks like a gem because of his speed and acceleration. You can never have too much speed in FIFA.

Re: Video Diary of FIFA Manager Bhurst99

In my three previous seasons, I've had the league's top scorer (Suarez with Liverpool; Brown with West Brom) and Mitrovic has the skills to make it 4-for-4. Mitrovic has a finishing rating of 80 and shot power of 82.

We definitely have some talent in the midfield and up front but the defense is very weak. It might be another campaign where I will have to outscore my defensive mistakes but were you expecting anything else?
