I love seeing the outcome of Royal Rumbles, and how people work with the eventual winner: can't wait.

Re: The Road to Wrestlemania: A WWE 13 Dynasty

King of the Ring:
HBK vs. Edge extreme rules

This was a great match in which HBK was busted open. Edge used a trash can, table, sledgehammer and mop. Edge wanted to destroy Michaes, and speared Shawn through the barricade. Michaels broke a guitar over Edge’s head, Edge bleeding. Edge suplexed michaels through announce table.Michaels persevered, and hit the Sweet Chin Music for the win. To further his point, he attacked Edge after the match.

The Good:These two are great wrestlers, and put on a terrific, hardcore match. Edge didn't look bad at all in this loss as he fought hard. I'm guessing these two will be feuding for a while, and I'm happy about that.
The Bad: I didn't have any complaints here.

Mr. McMahon vs Kane
Ken Shamrock attacked Kane before the match, giving Vince the possible advantage. McMahon was actually taking the fight to Kane, until the Undertaker’s gong went off, the lights went out, and Vince was spooked. Vince stole the Tombstone, but Kane kicked out. After a Lou Thez press, Kane was bleeding. Vince shocked the world, stealing the Chokeslam, Chokeslamming Kane for the win.

The Good: This sets up the feud for Kane/Undertaker vs. The Corporation, which could be great TV.
The Bad: I'm sorry, but I don't like how Vince is used; as a wrestler. It's fine to have him in segments to further feuds, but in a match? Luckily, he's in good physical shape, and can somewhat wrestle.

Royal Rumble [Attitude Era version]
Live, from Los Angeles, California, it's the Royal Rumble!

Kane vs. Ken Shamrock
These two have been feuding, and took their fight to a PPV audience. Both men used an array of power moves, with Shamrock additionally attacking the bigger man Kane's leg to set up the ankle lock. Kane would escape the Ankle Lock both times Shamrock applied it, and escaped the sleeper-body scissors twice. Kane decided to repay Vince McMahon( for stealing both his signature moves in their match on King of the Ring,) and locked in Ken's own sleeper-body scissors for the submission victory.

Tag Team Championship:
Acolytes (c) vs Road Warriors
This match stole the show, no doubt. The crowd was split 50/50 on who they were cheering for. It was a battle of power vs power. Each team showed why they are the top teams in the business, dominating the other for periods of time. Farooq took the match to the next level, spearing Hawk through the barricade. Animal repaid the favor, slamming Farooq through a chair. Both teams brawled outside of the ring, resulting in Bradshaw spearing Animal through the barricade. Bradshaw truly wanted to win, and began using dirty tactics. Farooq, after withstanding a Doomsday device, hit a powerslam then dominator to win, retaining the titles.

Paul Wight defeated Godfather

European Championship:
Eddie Guerrero (c) vs Edge
The crowd was really behind Eddie in this one. These two future stars went back and forth, putting on a clinic. Edge attacked Eddie's ribs continually. Edge hit a pay-dirt, busting the champion open. After a tornado DDT, Edge was bleeding as well. Eddie began an attack of high flying moves, but Edge grounded him with an Edge-ucator. Edge reversed the three amigos, but Eddie hit the brainbuster to win and retain.

WWE Undisputed championship:
British Bulldog (c) vs. Rock vs. Chris Jericho vs Stone Cold
When the match began, Jericho targeted Rock and Austin targeted the champion Bulldog. After several minutes of all out fighting, Bulldog hit a running powerslam on Austin but the pin was broken up. Audtin then hit a stunner on Bulldog, Rock hit the Rock bottom on Jericho, and Y2J locked in the liontamer on Bulldog. The match ended when Bulldog hit a running powerslam on Rock as Stone Cold stunned Jericho. Both men pinned their respective finisher victims simultaneously, but the referee saw and counted Bulldog's pin.

It's time for the Royal Rumble match! How appropriate that the Royal Rumble is in Los Angeles, where stars and legends are born/made.

#1 X Pac(eliminated by Mike Tyson)
Yes, Mike Tyson shocked the world by debuting for the WWF in the Royal Rumble match at #6.
#2 Cactus Jack (eliminated by Vader)

#3 Mark Henry (eliminated by Edge)
#4 Edge (eliminated by Vader)
#5 Vader (eliminated by the combination of Shane McMahon and Ken Shamrock.
This Rumble saw many teams/allies work together to eliminate other participants.

#6 Mike Tyson! (eliminated by Bradshaw)
Mike Tyson put on a good performance, and lasted a while, but was eliminated by Bradshaw
#7 Dude Love(eliminated by Bret Hart)
Somehow, all three Faces of Foley were seen, and unsuccessful, in this match

#8 Shane McMahon (eliminated by Bradshaw)
Shane tried to cheat his way to victory, using his goon Ken Shamrock to eliminate participants for him but fell victim to Bradshaw's lariat to be eliminated.
#9 Bradshaw(eliminated by ken Shamrock)
One half of the tag team champions, Bradshaw had a good performance, getting a few eliminations, but was eliminated by Shamrock.

#10 Chris Jericho(eliminated by Mike Tyson)
#11 Ken Shamrock (eliminated by Eddie Guerrero)

#12 Bret Hart (eliminated by Godfather)
#13 Christian (eliminated by Bret Hart
#14 Paul Wight (quickly eliminated by Bradshaw)
#15 Farooq (eliminated by Kane)
Farooq and his partner Bradshaw worked together, but Farooq was chokeslammed out of the ring by Kane to be eliminated.

#16 Godfather (eliminated by Animal)
#17 Kane (eliminated by Animal)
#18 Eddie Guerrero (eliminated by Road Dogg)

#19 Animal (eliminated by Rock)
Animal was the MVP of this match, lasting until the final 5 and getting several eliminations.
#20 Boss Man (eliminated by Animal)
#21 Hawk (eliminated by Vince McMahon)
#22 Undertaker (eliminated by Animal)

#23 Vince McMahon (eliminated by Animal)
#24 Road Dogg(eliminated by Rock)
#25 Rock eliminated by Triple H)
#26 HBK (eliminated by Steve Austin)
#27 Steve Austin (eliminated by Rock)
#28 Billy Gunn (eliminated by Rock(
#29 Triple H
#30 Mankind (eliminated by Rock)

The final 4 were Austin, Mankind, Triple H and Rock, all legitimate contenders for the title. Austin and Mankind were eliminated, leaving Rock, the former champion, and Triple H. Nobody, and I mean nobody, thought Triple H had a chance. Rock's been champion 3 times already. The two went toe to toe, and it was a stalemate. Yet Triple H managed to clothesline Rock out of the ring, earning himself a Rumble victory and a guaranteed Undisputed Title match at the main event of Wrestlemania.

Re: The Road to Wrestlemania: A WWE 13 Dynasty

When it comes down to The Rock and HHH, it's a guaranteed classic. Sad to see Rocky lose, but should make for a great main event in April.

Re: The Road to Wrestlemania: A WWE 13 Dynasty

Vice, I agree. I watch 90% of these matches play out, and don't user-play them so it's fair. When it was down to Rock and HHH, I was thinking, well, Rock's gonna win and get his third title shot. Yet Triple H won, so I was like

Re: The Road to Wrestlemania: A WWE 13 Dynasty

Raw:
JBL vs. Colin T
This is a rematch from last week, where Colin defeated JBL to qualify for the Royal Rumble match. JBL demanded a rematch, and wanted an easy win tonight. He gave himself an advantage before the match by attacking Colin. He mostly dominated the younger superstar, putting him away with a Clothesline from Hell to win and qualify for the Royal Rumble.

Kevin Nash vs. R Truth
Nash wanted to assure himself a spot in the Rumble, and did so by attacking Truth before the match. Nash full on decimated Truth, throwing him around ringside before putting away the man formerly known as Ron Killings with a second Jackknife.

Kofi vs. Miz: These two feuded all fall, and resumed their conflict tonight. They've built up nice chemistry, and put on a good match. The two fought all over the arena, including Miz spearing Kofi through the barricade. Miz would take the easy way out, rolling up Kofi to win and qualify for the Rumble as well.

Blade and Rock vs. US Champion Kevin Steen and Brock Lesnar
This is a rematch from last week, where tension between Rock and Blade cost the two an opportunity to officially qualify for the Rumble. Kevin and Brock continue to look like a great team. Rock and Blade were working well together until, in the middle of the match, Rock attacked Blade and left the match. Blade was at an obvious disadvantage, and was finished off by Brock's F5.

Kane vs. John Cena
Last week, Kane defeated CM Punk to become #1 contender for Dolph's WWE championship. CM Punk watched this match from ringside, visibly rooting against Kane. Kane was repeatedly distracted by Punk and Cena capitalized. A five knuckle shuffe and 2 AAs put Kane down for the count.

Re: The Road to Wrestlemania: A WWE 13 Dynasty

Smackdown: Taz and Tommy Dreamer vs. Tensai and Drew McIntyre (RR qualifier)
This was the debut of Taz and Dreamer, and Tensai/Drew lost their debut RR qualifier match last week. Taz and Dreamer made a good team, given their ECW connection, but Drew/Tensai displayed great teamwork as well. This match was shockingly good. Taz speared Drew through the barricade, but Drew managed to hit a Futureshock on Taz as an attempt to stay in the match. Taz hit a devastating German suplex for the win.

RR qualifier: Zack Ryder vs. Hunico
These two have feuded on Smackdown for months, and battled tonight with a Rumble spot on the line. They went back and forth and fought outside of the ring. Hunico would roll up Ryder to win.

Undertaker vs. Mark Henry
This was a match of sheer power vs power. Neither man dominated at any point, but went back and forth. A tombstone gave Undertaker the victory.

Jinder Mahal vs. Cody Rhodes:
Last week, Jinder defeated Cody to become #1 contender for Christian's IC title. Cody got a rematch tonight, and dominated in victory. After the match, IC champion Christian came out, applauding Rhodes.

Nontitle: WHC Chris Jericho vs. Sheamus
These two put on a clinic, tearing each other apart. The Best in the World at What He Does showed why he's champion, hitting a Codebreaker to win.
...wait, what's this!? It's Cody Rhodes, with his Money in the Bank case! He's cashing in on Jericho! Cody hit the Alabama Slam, and then the Cross Rhodes! He went for the pin 1-2-3! Cody's the new World Heavyweight Champion.

Re: The Road to Wrestlemania: A WWE 13 Dynasty

King of the Ring

Undisputed champion Bulldog enters the ring. He talks about how no one thought he’d ever be champion; no one thought he could beat the rock once, let alone twice, on PPV for the title. He talks about how he defied the odds last night, defeating Rock, Stone Cold and Y2J to retain. He says he’s made a lot of friends in the locker room, and a lot of enemies. He says one friend in particular, Godfather, has stayed true to him. Bulldog asks Godfather to come to the ring. Godfather talks about how Bulldog has done just that, made friends/enemies, defied the odds. He says: “No one expected you to be champion…because you shouldn’t be a champion. You’re not champion material.” Godfather talks about how he came close to winning the rumble, and though he lost, he will be at the main event of WrestleMania…for the Undisputed title. He says Bulldog walks around like he’s the greatest person; the greatest wrestler, the greatest champion, and the fans eat it up. But the fans don’t see what’s not on TV. They don’t see what kind of person Bulldog truly is. He’s a bad person, a bad friend. And Godfather’s going to make him pay. Godfather then beats Bulldog down, gives him a Pimp Drop, and poses with the title.

Kane and Ken Shamrock vs. Vince and Shane McMahon
Though they’ve been feuding, Ken and Kane teamed tonight to face the McMahons. Before the match, it was clear that Kane had been set up, as he walked to the ring alone and the match turned into a handicap match. Kane fought hard, trying to prove that he didn’t need a partner. Vince and Shane used every dirty tactic in the book to slow the big man down. Vince put his body and health on the line, spearing Kane through the barricade. Kane was finally put away by a DDT. After the match, Kane came to the ring, staring at Kane.

Edge vs. Chris Jericho
Before the match, Jericho decided to take a night off, and had Boss man replace him in the match. Edge was unfazed, fighting resiliently. One paydirt didn’t put Boss Man away, so the match continued. Edge withstood a spinebuster, and a Boss Man Slam. A second paydirt busted Boss man open, and got edge the victory.

Triple h vs. Mark Henry
The Royal Rumble winner challenged Mark Henry tonight. Road Dogg watched this match from ringside. Triple H made quick work of the World’s Strongest Man, hitting two Pedigrees in victory.
After the match, Road Dogg rushed into the ring, trying to attack Triple H, but Triple H hit a Pedigree and unofficially pinned Road Dogg to “win.”

Rock vs. Bulldog
These two always put on great matches when they collide, and did so tonight. Rock wanted to win badly, and went so far as to DDT the champion through the announce table, busting the champion open. Rock hit a spinebuster for a 2 count, then a Rock Bottom to win, beating the champion.

Royal Rumble winner Triple H comes to the ring. He says he honestly doesn’t care what’s happened with Bulldog and Godfather. He says that no matter what happens, he has a guaranteed Undisputed championship match at Wrestlemania, in the main event. He says he earned the Royal Rumble win, and worked hard for it. It wasn’t given to him because he’s married to Stephanie, or on Vince’s good side. He says he won the Rumble because he’s the best in the world, and he’ll prove it at WrestleMania.
