Re: Brand Wars: The Smoovest WWE 2K14 Universe

July Week 1

Smoove Moves universe is ready to get going, and the wrestlers are ready to pick up where they left off. Monday Night Raw is our first stop here, and it should be great!

Monday Night Raw

Raw opens with The Animal Batista! Batista comes down to the ring in skinny jeans that look painfully uncomfortable, and a sweater. Batista says that he is a man of his word, and last night (or last month) was proof of that. He battered CM Punk to a pulp. He embarrassed him, and he's ready to move past that "waste of space".

Batista is interrupted by non other than Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder. Ryder says that they haven't forgotten that attack last week. Ryder says that Batista thinks he can just jump Hawkins and Ryder and get away with it... Are you serious bro? Batista says that he would be more than happy to take them on face to face right now!

Match #1: Batista vs. Hawkins & Ryder

Ryder and Hawkins are actually in the ring together for this impromptu match, but it doesn't matter! Batista decimates the two men. He picks up the win after Batista bombing both men.
Winner: Batista

The commentators announce that John Cena will not be here tonight.

Match #2: Corey Graves vs. Matt Hardy

Corey Graves is out to a chorus of boos. Thats what happens when the first people you target are Y2J and RVD. Matt is out to a respectful reaction. The two go at it, and Corey has firm control most of the match. He manages to throw Hardy off his game and stop any momentum shifts from happening. Hardy ends up shocking the world by hitting a twist of fate out of nowhere, and defeating the red-hot rookie.
Winner: Matt Hardy

Corey Graves looks on in shock as Matt walks up the ramp high-fiving fans.

After a break: Triple H and Randy Orton are in the ring. Triple H says that John Cena is officially out of contention for the WWE Championship after last night, and therefore a new number one contender needs to be crowned. Tonight it's going to be a triple threat match between three veterans on the Raw brand. Chris Jericho, Rob Van Dam, and Goldust. The winner of that match will take on Randy Orton for the WWE Championship at No Way Out.

Orton grabs a mic and immediately objects to this. He asks how Triple H could have possibly decided that three has beens should be coming after Ortons Championship. He demands an explanation from Triple H. Triple H says that Orton has a very valid point, but he has a valid explanation. He's the boss and he'll do what he wants.

HHH's music hit's and Orton is in the ring looking frustrated.

Backstage the Shield is filming themselves. They point out the fact that they all still have their titles. Ambrose says that they're done with Langston and The Real Americans, and that it's time for the roster to accept that the Shield cannot be stopped.

Match #3: Miz vs. Sin Cara

Sin Cara is looking very determined here, and he's 100 mph from the start. Sin Cara is coming right at the Miz, and he just doesn't have an answer for the ridiculously fast paced offense. Sin Cara ends up winning with a swan-ton from the top.
Winner: Sin Cara

After the match Wade Barrett is out to help the Miz beat down Sin Cara, but Mysterio runs down to the ring to make the save!

Backstage Cody Rhodes is talking to his brother Goldust when they are interrupted by Ryback. Ryback asks what the two are talking about. Is it about how Goldust is getting a #1 contenders match tonight, and poor little Cody has to sit back and watch? Cody responds saying that theres no jealousy between the two, and that he would be more than happy to take on Ryback next if he's so interested in his business. Ryback accepts the challenge.

Match #4:Ryback vs. Cody Rhodes

Cody is a striking machine, and thats basically all he can do against Ryback. Ryback stops Cody with a bunch of big moves. This match is back and forth and very entertaining. The crowd is extremely behind Cody Rhodes, but Rhodes can't stop Ryback who's been looking great as of late.
Winner: Ryback

Backstage Renee Young is with Big E Langston. Renee asks Langston what his plans are after the loss on sunday to the Shield. Langston says that The Shield have mastered the art of six man tag team matches. Langston doesn't want to sound like a sore loser, but he knows that if he gets Ambrose one on one he would decimate him, and become the new United States Champion.

Match #5: RVD vs. Chris Jericho vs. Goldust

RVD and Goldust are both the youngest wrestlers in this match at the age of 43. Wow. Watching this match you would have guessed these three men have stepped into a time machine. This was an epic display of wrestling. The technical style of Jericho, high flying style of RVD, and Brawling style of Goldust meshed well perfectly. The three men know that they don't have too many chances like this to come, and they sure made the most of it. The ending came with Rob hitting a kick on Goldust, only to turn around and receive a codebreaker. Jericho pins RVD for the win!
Winner Chris Jericho

Jericho is celebrating in the ring and Orton runs in. He nails Jericho with the RKO. The show fades off with Orton holding the title in the air.

Smoove is back!

Smackdown had a very eventful pay-per-view last night. Whats next for Daniel Bryan? Who is Mr. Money in the Bank? And did Sheamus join the Wyatt Family? Lets see!

Friday Night Smackdown

Smackdown opens with the Money in the Bank winner Damien Sandow. Sandow comes down to the ring. He begins explaining his triumphant victory sunday. Sandow says that as the smartest member of the roster he can easily say that he will use this briefcase to it's full potential. Sandow promises that he will become the World Heavyweight Champion. "You're welcome"

Commercial break

Match #1: Justin Gabriel vs. Tyson Kidd

Gabriel and Kidd have a storied history. Gabriel recently chased the World Title, and he needs to finally bury this rivalry with Kidd. Gabriel and Kidd have one of their better matches here. Gabriel gets more brutal with every match, and in this one he was relentless. He proved that he is an evolving talent with a big win here.
Winner: Justin Gabriel

On the titantron: Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt family interrupt the show. Wyatt says that he is the messiah, he is a god on earth. Wyatt says he has saved yet another man. Sheamus walks in wearing a grey Erick Rowan esque boiler suit. Wyatt laughs and says run.

Match #2: Sheamus & Erick Rowan vs. Air Boom

Sheamus and Rowan are expressionless. Sheamus looks like a completely different person. Sheamus comes at Bourne with brutal heabutts. Him and Rowan have amazing chemistry, and they destroy Air Boom in this match. Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick on Kofi for the victory.
Winners Sheamus & Rowan

Backstage: The World Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan is with Josh Matthews. Matthews congratulates Bryan on his victory last night. He asks Bryan how he feels about Sheamus joining the Wyatts. Bryan says he doesn't know what to think. He tough he and Sheamus were together against the Wyatts, but thats obviously not the case. Bryan says he's going to make it his own personal goal to get to the bottom of this. Josh asks Bryan if he honestly believes he can take on the entire Wyatt family, and Bryan firmly responds... yes.

Match #3 Kane vs. R-Truth

Kane manhandles Truth all match. He goes to hit a choke slam, but Truth fights out, and immediately hits Little Jimmy. Kane kicks out. Truth and Kane stand up and Truth rolls him up. He gets a huge upset victory!
Winner: R-Truth

Truth runs out of the ring. Kane gets up and takes some time to take in what just happened, and the tantrum begins. Kane rips apart the ringside area. He destroys the announcers table and attacks the bell-keeper. Kane walks up the ramp and removes his mask before entering the backstage area.

Match #4: The Worlds Greatest Tag Team vs. Los Matadores

The WGTT have been on quite the decline since their title loss. Tonight was their chance to get on the right track. The Matadores seemed to be just as determined, and they pick up the victory.
Winners: Los Matadores

Shelton Benjamin grabs a mic. He seems reluctant to speak, but after a few seconds he screams "We Quit!"

Backstage: Daniel Bryan walks into Damien Sandow. Sandow introduces himself to Bryan as the man who is going to take his title and shows him the briefcase. Bryan says that he would love to give Sandow a preview of what he's in for tonight in a non-title match. Sandow accepts and the match is on.

Match #5: Daniel Bryan vs. Damien Sandow

If this match is a preview of what Smackdown has in store for the future than the future is very bright. This was a match of the year candidate, and a great showing from start to finish. Bryan kicked out of the You're Welcome and Sandow escaped from 2 Yes Locks. Sandow ended up losing after a Baisuku Knee from Bryan.
Winner: Daniel Bryan

After the match Bryan is celebrating in the ring and leading the crowd in Yes! chants. The goat mask flashes, and that can only mean one thing... The Wyatt Family make their way down to the ring and beatdown Bryan. Bray hits the Sister Abigail and Bryan is left laying in the ring.

The Wyatts stand tall to end Smackdown!

Re: Brand Wars: The Smoovest WWE 2K14 Universe

July Week 2

Monday Night Raw

Raw opens with the music of Sin Cara. It looks like we're going right into tonights opening contest.

Match #1: Sin Cara vs. Wade Barrett

After the events that took place last week this match only makes sense. Sin Cara is seeking revenge against Wade Barrett, and this match is like Deja Vu of Sin Caras match with The Miz. Wade just had no chance of keeping up with the amazingly fast Sin Cara, who was bringing his A game. The match is interrupted by the music of the Miz. The Miz temporarily distracts Sin Cara, and Wade hits the Bull Hammer for the win.
Winner: Wade Barrett

The Miz and Barrett begin to beat down Sin Cara yet again, and Mysterio again makes the save.

Backstage: Randy Orton approaches Triple H in his office. He asks what he was thinking last week with that #1 contenders match. Triple H says that he knows he can beat Jericho, and to prove it he's going to make a match tonight. Orton vs. Rob Van Dam.

In the ring: Corey Graves is calling out Matt Hardy. He wants a rematch after last week. Matt makes his way down to the ring. It looks like the match is on!

Match #2: Corey Graves vs. Matt Hardy

Graves is getting a rematch after the upset victory last week by Matt Hardy. Graves looks lost in this match. Matt looks rejuvenated and extremely motivated. The end comes with a side effect that lays out Graves. Matt hits the leg drop from the top rope for the win.
Winner: Matt Hardy

Graves is shocked. Thats two weeks in a row that Matt has defeated Graves who was undefeated on Raw up to that point. Whats next for these two?

Backstage: Big E Langston is walking down the halls when he's stopped by Dean Ambrose. Ambrose says that Langston obviously wants his U.S title badly. Ambrose and Langston stare each other down, and Langston is attacked by Reigns and Rollins from behind. The three men beat down Langston and leave him laying. There was a six man tag match planned, but it doesn't look possible now.

After a commercial break The Shields music hits and they make their way down to the ring. Next out are the Real Americans. Cesaro has a mic. He says that the Shield obviously think that they're going to get away with attacking Big E. It turns out they found a new partner... John Cena!

Match #3: The Shield vs. The Real American & John Cena

This match was an epic display of tag team wrestling. The Shield isolated the Real Americans most of the match, and when Cena finally got tagged in he was a house of fire. Cena and the Shield go at it for a while, but the Shield end up pinning Swagger off a distraction and a steel chair being used.
Winners: The Shield

The Shield quickly flee to the back after the match.

Match #4: Ryback vs. CM Punk

This is Punks return match after losing to Batista at MITB, and it's against his former rival Ryback. before the match Cody Rhodes comes out on commentary. It looks like he's still upset about last week. Punk and Ryback go at it for a while in a decent contest. The end comes with Ryback grabbing a steel chair to attack Punk with, and Cody grabbing the chair before he can use it. The distraction allows Punk to get Ryback up for the GTS.
Winner: CM Punk

Punk is celebrating in the ring, but Batistas music cuts the celebration short. Batista runs down to the ring and attacks Punk, who is exhausted after just finishing a match. He hits a Batista bomb on Punk.

Match #5: Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam

Orton and Rob have an amazing match here. This was a complete clinic. Orton has control of RVD mid match, but Rob reverses an RKO and hits a big kick that staggers Orton. He rolls him up and picks up the win!
Winner: Rob Van Dam

Orton is ready to go absolutely insane after that, but before he can do anything Triple H and Batista run down to the ring. HHH points at Rob, and Batista charges. He attacks RVD and hits a Batista Bomb. Orton and Batista are beating down RVD until Jericho's music hits! Jericho and Goldust run down to the ring and fight off Batista and Orton.

The show ends with Goldust, Jericho, and Rob Van Dam standing tall.

Friday Night Smackdown

Smackdown is live from Montreal Quebec. The show opens with the World Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan! Bryan has a mic, but he can't speak over the "Daniel Bryan" chants. Bryan begins to speak. He is addressing Bray Wyatt and his "family". Bryan says that theres four of them, and only one Daniel Bryan, but he will not back down. If he's the families next target than so be it. Bryan promises he will overcome this obstacle just like he has every other one in his life.

Bryan delivered a very serious promo there. It looks like this is the beginning of an epic rivalry.

Match #1: Justin Gabriel vs. Christian

Not much to say here. Christian puts over the fast rising star Justin Gabriel, who wins this match with a 450 splash.
Winner: Justin Gabriel

Backstage: R-truth is backstage with Josh Matthews. Matthews asks Truth what he makes of Kanes breakdown after his big win last week. Truth says he doesn't know what got into Kane, but what he does know is that he pinned Kane 1-2-3 in the middle of the ring, and thats momentum that he's going to ride into his match tonight.

Match #2: R-Truth vs. Alberto Del Rio

The crowd wasn't into this match at first, but Truth really started getting them into it with his typical dancing, flashy moves and "Whats up?" chants. Not sure if this is an upset or not, but Truth pins Del Rio cleanly after a Little Jimmy.
Winner: R-Truth

Backstage: Curtis Axel approaches Dolph Ziggler. Axel says that seeing him as the Intercontinental Champion makes him sick to his stomach. Axel wants the title back, and he wants a match tonight. Ziggler gladly accepts.

Match #3: Luke Harper vs. The Great Khali

Luke Harper does the magic Undertaker entrance here where he just appears in the ring. This is a squash match. Harper destroys Khali in a matter of minutes and wins with the spinning clothesline.
Winner: Luke Harper

Immediately after the pin-fall Daniel Bryans music hits! He runs down to the ring with a steel chair and beats down Luke Harper. Daniel flees through the crowd and leaves Harper laying unconscious. Epic!

Match #4: Dolph Ziggler vs. Curtis Axel

This was a really, really good match. Ziggler ends up winning with a Zig Zag.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler

Match #5: Erick Rowan & Sheamus vs. Los Matadores

Rowan and Sheamus look pissed this match after what just happened. They eviscerate Los Matadores. Thats another squash match
Winners: Rowan & Sheamus

After the match Daniel Bryans music plays, but theres no sign of him. As Sheamus and Rowan look for him at the stage he runs through the crowd and sneak attacks them with a steel chair!

Bray runs into the ring to attack Bryan, but Bryan again flees through the crowd and leads the crowd in yes chants at the top of the stairs as Smackdown goes off the air.

Re: Brand Wars: The Smoovest WWE 2K14 Universe

July Week 3

Monday Night Raw

The show opens with the static that can only mean one thing... CM Punk is here! Punk comes out and he obviously has something to say. Punk is addressing Batista. He says that Batista obviously still has problems with him. He suggests that instead of attacking him from behind every week he comes down to the ring and they settle their problems like men.

Punk is waiting for Batista to come out, but instead the music of Raw GM Triple H plays. Triple H comes out. He says that he understands why Punk is so upset, and if he wants to commit suicide and take on Batista one on one than so be it. Triple H says he's going to do whats best for business. It's going to be CM Punk vs. Batista inside of a Hell in a Cell ... at No Way Out.

Triple H tells Punk that he's going to make up for Batistas attack last week by putting Batista in a match that will put him to the test, and that match is next.

Match #1: Batista vs. ???

Batista is out first, and he awaits his opponents arrival. It's... Santino Marella...

This was obviously a joke from Triple H. Batista squashes Santino and picks up a win after a couple minutes.
Winner: Batista

After a commercial break: Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara walk down to the ring together. Mysterio is set to face Wade Barrett.

Match #2: Rey Mysterio w/ Sin Cara vs. Wade Barrett w/ The Miz

Mysterio and Barrett have a good match here. That is until Barrett begins to get frustrated at his inability to stop Mysterio. The Miz interferes in the match and a brawl breaks out between the four men.
Winner by DQ: Rey Mysterio

Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio clear the ring. Mysterio grabs a mic and announces that him and Sin Cara will be taking on Miz and Barrett in a tag match at No Way Out.

Match #3: Matt Hardy vs. Corey Graves

Matt is walkin down to the ring when he's attacked from behind by Graves. Graves destroys Hardy with a steel chair. This match isn't happening.
Winner: Draw

In the ring: Randy Orton is cutting a promo. The promo is interrupted by non other than Chris Jericho! Jericho tells Orton that he obviously thinks that hiding behind Batista and Triple H is going to get him somewhere. Jericho promises that when he gets Orton one on one this sunday he will become the WWE Champion.

Triple H's music hits and out he comes. Triple H says that theres been a slight change of plans. It turns out that he saw an opportunity to do whats best for business. Triple H says that in order to fit the theme of No Way Out the WWE Title match will be contested in a Hell In a Cell! Orton is furious after that announcement, but Triple H isn't done yet. He says that after R.V.D's victory over Orton last week and Goldust's involvement in saving Rob they deserve to be in the match as well.

Orton is steaming, and Triple H sill isn't done! He says that two NXT stars will be getting the opportunity of a lifetime, and will be called up to participate in a Six man Armageddon Hell In A Cell match for the WWE Championship!

Orton starts screaming into the microphone, and he turns around right into a codebreaker. Sunday is going to be epic!

Match #4 : Ryback vs. Goldust

Ryback and Cody Rhodes have been going at it the last few weeks, and tonight Ryback has to step in the ring with Rhodes brother Goldust. Rhodes is on commentary for this match.

The match itself was a straightforward striking battle. Ryback starts arguing with Cody and the distraction allows Goldust to hit Cross Rhodes for the win!
Winner: Goldust

Goldust is definitely ready for a shot at the WWE Championship.

Match #5: Seth Rollins w/ Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose vs. Antonio Cesaro w/ Jack Swagger & Big E Langston

Rollins and Cesaro have faced many times during this rivalry and they've all been great matches. This one was no exception. A brawl starts outside the ring between the Ambrose, Reigns, Langston, and Swagger. The distraction allows Cesaro to hit a big uppercut on Rollins for the win.
Winner: Antonio Cesaro

The brawl continues between the 6 men, and once again Triple H is out to control the situation. HHH says that he's tired of these six guys going at it. At No Way Out it comes to an end. Dean Ambrose is going to defend his U.S title against Big E Langston, and The Real Americans will challenge Rollins and Reigns for the tag team championships. Both of those two matches will be contested in a steel cage!

After a commercial: Randy Orton is back out. He starts complaining about the match that Triple H made for No Way Out. Triple H cuts him off, this time he's on the titantron. Triple H says that he would like to introduce Randy Orton to one of the men who will be participating in the Hell In A Cell Match.

The former NXT champion... Sami Zayn!

Zayn runs into the ring and comes at Orton like a house of fire. Orton scatters out of the ring, and Zayn stands tall. "Ole" chants start as Raw goes off the air.

No Way Out is starting to take shape, and it's looking great.

Friday Night Smackdown

The show opens begins with a Bray Wyatt promo. In it Bray basically says that he has built his army, and now the war begins. Daniel Bryan is a one man army, and he will soon fall to the power of his family. Rowan pokes his head in front of the camera and simply says "run".

Match #1: R-Truth vs. Justin Gabriel

Truth is like a hype man for Smackdown, and he does a great job getting the crowd hyped. Him and Gabriel have a solid opening match, but the real story here is Kanes pyro going off mid match. The distraction allows Gabriel to pick up the win.
Winner: Justin Gabriel

It looks like Kane has a problem with R-Truth after that upset victory a couple weeks ago. It should be interesting to see how this rivalry turns out.

In the ring: Mr. MITB Damien Sandow apparently has an announcement to make. He says that as the smartest member of the Smackdown roster he can promise that he will use his briefcase to it's full potential. Sandow announces that he will cash his briefcase in at Wrestlemania, and he will win the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event!

Match #2: The Prime Time Players vs. Curtis Axel & Fandango

It looks like Axel and Fandango are a new tag team here. Theres room for teams to step up after Haas & Benjamin's departure. Axel and Fandango are impressive here, but the Tag Champions manage to pick up the victory.
The Prime Time Players

In the ring: The Wyatt family is in the ring. Bray Wyatt is speaking nonsense, and he issues an open challenge. Anyone in the back can come out and take on Erick Rowan.

The challenge is answered by Tyson Kidd. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain so here he is.

Match #3: Tyson Kidd vs. Erick Rowan

Kidd barley gets any offense in here, and Rowan squashes him.
Winner: Erick Rowan

Bray gets in the ring and hits the Sister abigail on Kidd. He continues to speak, and issues an open challenge to anyone who wants to take on Luke Harper. The challenge is answered by.. The Big Show!

Match #4: Luke Harper vs. The Big Show

Harper is taken to his limit by The Big Show, but he picks up an impressive victory with an out of nowhere clothesline.
Winner: Luke Harper

The Wyatt Family regroups again. Bray says that he hopes his message has gone through to Daniel Bryan loud and clear. His family cannot be stopped.

Backstage: Daniel Bryan is with Josh Mathews. He asks Bryan if he's worried about the Wyatt Family breathing down his neck. Bryan says that he knows whats ahead of him. He says that if Bray Wyatt is willing to be a man and get into the ring with him one on one he'll show the Wyatt family a war.

Match #5: Daniel Bryan vs. Alberto Del Rio

Bryan is a house of fire. Del Rio looks good here, and it's far from a squash match, but Bryan manages to pick up the win.

Bryan celebrates in the ring to end the show.

Re: Brand Wars: The Smoovest WWE 2K14 Universe

July Week 4

Monday Night Raw

This is the last Monday Night Raw before the No Way Out PPV. It's time to bring everything home, and theres still some questions to be answered. Here we go!

Triple H's music hits and Raw is underway. Triple H says that he seems to have thrown people off after putting Randy Ortons title on the line in a huge Hell in a Cell match. Triple H explains that this isn't a punishment on Orton, he was just doing whats best for business.

Orton interrupts HHH and makes his way down to the ring. He tells him that this IS a punishment, and for whatever reason HHH has turned on him. Orton is complaining to Triple H for what seems like an hour. Triple H says that he was going to give Orton another night off to make up for everything, but he's changed his mind. Instead it's going to be Randy Orton vs. Goldust in tonights main event.

Match #1: Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns w/ Dean Ambrose vs. Tons Of Funk

Brodus and Tensai do alright here. It was a decent tag match, but they had no chance against The Tag Champs.
Winners: Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns

After the match the Real Americans and Big E Langston come out to the top of the entrance ramp. Langston has a microphone. He says that he is so looking forward to becoming the next U.S champion. Antonio Cesaro says that it's not even just about the titles. They are sick and tired of chasing the Shield around, and this sunday it all ends.

"We the people!"

Match #2: Rey Mysterio w/ Sin Cara vs. The Miz w/ Wade Barrett

Mysterio isn't able to stop the Miz, who finally picks up his first clean win in this rivalry.
Winner: The Miz

The tag match at No Way Out should be some great wrestling.

Backstage: Corey Graves is with Renee Young. Renee asks Graves if he thinks he can beat Matt Hardy one on one especially after last week. Graves says he doesn't think he can... He knows he can, and he will this sunday.

Match #3: Corey Graves & Ryback vs. Cody Rhodes & Matt Hardy

This tag match involves two rivalries that will be featured in singles matches at No Way Out. The match ends with Ryback distracting the ref and Graves rolling up Matt.
Winners: Graves & Ryback

Match #4: Batista vs. John Morrison

Morrison actually looks great in this match. He gets a lot of offense in on Batista, and manages to hit a starship pain. Batista starts to get frustrated with Morrison, and he picks up a submission win with a Batista Bite.
Winner: Batista

Batista grabs a microphone. He says that he is looking forward to sunday more than he's ever looked forward to a ppv before. He promises CM Punk that it will be the fight of his life.

Match #5: Goldust vs. Randy Orton

This is another amazing match involving Randy Orton. Goldust is in the best shape of his life, and this match proves it. Goldust pulls off a sunset flip, and a few hurricanranas. He picks up a rollup win on Orton.
Winner: Goldust

Orton loses again! He's in complete shock. He attacks Goldust from behind and hits an RKO. Chris Jericho runs in and hits Orton with a Code Breaker. RVD is next and then it's the rookie out of NXT Sami Zayn! A brawl breaks out between the five men.

Music begins to play and out comes Alexander Rusev! Rusev must be the 6th man in the Hell in a Cell match! He runs down to the ring and completely cleans house.

For the second week in a row an NXT superstar stands tall to end Raw.
