The 2014 FIFA Club World Cup will be the 1st FIFA Club World Cup, the world championship for men's club football teams. It will be taking place in England from 11 June to 11 July 2014.
The bidding process for hosting the tournament finals was open only to European nations; in 2008, the international football federation, FIFA, selected England over Germany and Italy to become the first nation to host the cup.
The final match will be played at the Wembley Stadium in England's largest city, London.
Sixty-four teams qualified for participation via a worldwide qualification tournament that began in August 2007. In the first round of the tournament finals, the teams will compete in round-robin groups of eight teams for points, with the top two teams in each group proceeding.
