Re: 2012 Spring Training Discussion Thread
As of Thursday there have been 27 or 28 guys already at the Jays ST facility. I don't know if that's unusual for most teams but I was impressed by that. Not quite ST but worth noting, the Jays sold out their home opener in less than an hour. I hope that's a sign of things to come.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Lots of people at Braves camp already. Whatever it takes for them to get the collapse out of their minds, I guess. I'm still stewing over it.Comment

Re: 2012 Spring Training Discussion Thread
Glad to see this thread make an appearance. Very interested to see how Heyward looks physically in camp along with who jumps out to the lead in the race as the 5th starter. I also wonder how Huddy/Chipper are physically...along with Hanson's new motion. Man, so many good things in the next month!"People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. Re: 2012 Spring Training Discussion Thread
Mike Cameron announced his retirement today. Still one of my all-time favorite Mariners, even if he was only there for 4 years. And I will never forget how he made his introduction to Seattle in his first game at home after being traded for Junior.

Even though Cameron hit for a mid average he was still a good power hitter.Check out my Baseball Rumors Blog http://baseballrumors101.blogspot.com/Comment

Re: 2012 Spring Training Discussion Thread
Seeing how good Cabrera is looking has got me more excited for this year. I'm excited to see him play third base.
Last year he showed up to Spring Training in Police custody, with a bottle of scotch, a few double chins and his jersey couldn't contain his stomach, so this is a very nice improvement.Last edited by CabreraMVP; 02-19-2012, 06:29 PM.JayElectronicaBluElzhi2PacTheNotoriousB.I.G.ReksSc arfaceFashawnJeruThaDamajaComment

Re: 2012 Spring Training Discussion Thread
Never was a big fan of Cameron, but he was a great fielder and had some decent pop. I'll never forget that collision he had with Carlos Beltran a few years back. Still one of the nastiest injuries I've seen in baseball.Comment
