Scherzer just notched his 109th double digit strikeout game putting him one behind Clemens for third place. They displayed a graphic showing the top 5 during the Mets game and the gap between Nolan Ryan, Randy Johnson and the rest of the pack is incredible

Another great series for the Yankees. Embarrassed by Luis Castillo. Embarrassed by Houston, Embarrassed by the Mets. Lost the series to STL. But hey at least they destroyed the Royals.

Need to get Peraza up immediately. If they wouldn't trade him. Inject some life into the lifeless. Haven't won a meaningful series since God knows when.

Almost forgot lost to Jordan Montgomery today. Clicking on all cylinders.

Mets offense has been relentless lately at running up pitch counts, Spencer Strider out after 79 pitches in 2 2/3 innings. Seems like every day they start the game with at least a 20 pitch first inning
