Of course this happens when I'm going to a game later this week.

Hes been in a weird mood this year...maybe it actually is for the best to get the team motivated.

The Mets certainly had themselves a day. Edwin Diaz to the IL, Alonso gets hit by a pitch in the hand and has to leave the game, then Jorge Lopez gets ejected and launches his glove in to the stands and gets DFA'd. The also got the **** kicked out of them by the Dodgers but the Mets losing isn't really news at this point.

Apparently Lopez got lost in translation and was referring to himself as the worst teammate and not to the Mets as the worst team plus apparently he is dealing with some personal stuff that includes separation from his wife and his kid being seriously il (waiting for a transplant?) and this is after taking time off last year for "emotional support", so now the tide is turning with some people saying the Mets acted too hastily
