Pretty similar to what everyone considers the best postseason player.
C'mon, this shouldn't even be an argument. How many times has ARod come through in the playoffs like Papi did for the Sox in 04?

I just dislike him period. I'll give him credit for willing to defer money on his contract to play for a contender, not many guys would do that.

I think a reason a lot of Red Sox fans hate ARod is because he was basically the posterboy for what the Yankees had been doing to the Sox for quite a while. They swooped in and were able to net him when the Sox weren't. That's a big reason for my hatred for him, misguided or not.

He also seems like a pompous, self obsessed *** too.

lol. Nomah was a god in Boston until he got traded.

There's no question Papi was more clutch.

I'm just wondering why peple call A-Rod completly unclutch when he has very good numbers when it matters. People look at him and say "Well since he doesnt match Ortiz, he's not clutch at all" when in reality he comes up bigger in tough situations than most people.

People are gonna have to accept sooner or later that A-Rod will never be a pressure situation Ortiz clone, but he'll still be very good when it counts.
