For the love of God don't pick the Cubs! It would be like sticking with the Indians, except for the fact that they are just good enough to inspire a little hope until August and then crush your soul with a week long losing streak to get bumped from playoff contention. Or, worse, they make the playoffs and then forget that they have run, pitch, catch, hit, throw, think.....etc and lose in 3. I'm not bitter.

i know you've already picked cardinals ( good choice , btw ) but if you really want to think out of the batters box , might i suggest the nearest minor league team ? i live between atl & birmingham barons & go to many of both teams games . minor league baseball has a completely different atmosphere from mlb but it's still baseball & with the players desire to get away from the long bus rides & into the show , the games are competitive & i really enjoy them as much as the majors . hope you don't have a cards-indians ws dilemma , thnx & happy baseball
