Re: 2011 World Series: Texas Rangers v. St. Louis Cardinals

I have tickets to games 3 and 5, so I'm hoping the Rangers win it in 5. The Cardinals pitching isn't any better than either team the Rangers have faced thus far, so I expect some high scoring games.

Interesting side note, this will be the first time Texas has ever played in St. Louis.

Cardinals fan...but I have to say Rangers in 6 although I'll be rooting for my Cards.

Two very classy organizations going at it who play the game the right way. Should be a good series.

Were they, perchance, a bit on the sour side?

Can't say that you expected them to get here after being so far back in the Wild Card race and then having to go through Philadelphia AND Milwaukee, but I digress. (See: Phillies in 2008)

Never said I thought they'd be here.

But to say that them being here is a joke after they coincidentally beat your team sounds a bit like sour grapes to me. But I digress.

I find it ridiculous that St Louis has HFA in this series. Another horrible idea from Bud Selig.

That and the fact that Carpenter will possibly get to throw 3 times in this series scares me.

Once again, Texas, please don't crap the bed.
