Pudge is #1 though.
His time here in Texas though was very impressive. His '89 season was simply amazing with 301 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.034. Hell, his next season had a WHIP of 1. That's one. Two no-hitters, numerous one hitters and a great finale to his career. Then off the mound, Ryan was able to gather a team of investors to get this team the funding it needed. If the Ryan-Greenberg group doesn't win, I don't think Crane-Cuban would have put that money back in the franchise.

If you put that '89 Ryan on this year's team, we win the World Series. He's one of the best Rangers ever; as of yet the only Ranger in the hall.
