Hitting 88 mph at 50 years old is mind-bogglingly impressive to me

He definitely looked pretty good but Rocket Roger as a junkballer doesn't quite do it for me LOL.

Still that was an impressive feat. Oh and also...Boy Joey Gathright has fallen on hard times playing in the Atlantic League. SMH.

So, Clemens exceeds expectations in front of scouts for the Astros. Yeah, it's going to be difficult to convince me that he will not be pitching for them by the end of the season.

Even if that happens (big IF), I would be very surprised if the writers voted him in.

Mark McGwire was far more popular than Clemens ever was and he's struggling to break 20% of the vote on the HOF ballot.

Clemens had a far better career though as well. The problem is that it really is just a popularity contest to get into the Hall at this point.

If he plays for the Astros... he won't be eligible for the HOF for another 5 years right?

Re: Clemens Signs with Minor League Team

His next start is tonight at 8:05 PM ET on ESPN 3. The Skeeters called up Koby Clemens, and he'll actually be catching for his dad tonight.
