I was intrigued, so I had to look this one up.

In 1908, Germany Schaefer of the Tigers stole 2nd, 1st, and then 2nd again against Cleveland. Back then you could steal bases in reverse order. They wanted to try a double steal. He stole 2nd, but they didn't throw. So on the next pitch he stole 1st to put the double steal back in play. Then he stole 2nd again. Annnnd, Cleveland didn't throw again.
