Venable and Upton are possibilities according to Andy Martino.

According to Rosenthal:
Outfielders who are or could be in play for #Mets: Bruce, Cespedes, R. Davis, Venable. Cuddyer may not be back. Questions about Lagares. And yes, I failed to mention Upton as a possibility for #Mets. Him too..

Re: 2015 MLB Trade Deadline

Looks like Revere to Jays talks died down. Phillies asking price was way too high. I guess Phillies just don't want to trade with Jays. Cause Jays wanted Papelbon, and Phillies asking price was way too high, and had to settle for the deal they ended up getting this week, which I'm sure is a lower price than Jays were offering.

Wouldn't be surprised if Phillies asking price for Revere was Pompey(Jays top OF prospect).

Probably still salty about Mitch and the WS homer.

I have no idea. I am not a fan of any ESPN insiders with the exception of Jayson Stark. I remember when Peter Gammons left ESPN to come to MLB Network. Gammons said, "I don't care about being first, I care about being right."

Gammons spit some truth right there.

#Cubs, #Padres and #RedSox have discussed a three-team trade, source confirms.

Buster first to report about potential 3 team deal...

Long tenured guys often keep their jobs even if their skills have declined as a reporter. The Toronto Sun's Bob Elliott used to be REALLY GOOD (in fact, he was so good that he's in the HOF now) but once all his cronies from the Gillick days left Toronto he's been outed for the old lazy guy he is. That being said, every now and again he makes some good points in his columns.

Or more likely because the last prospect they got from the Jays (Brown) has turned into a guy with ZERO baseball instincts.
