Verlander is just killin' it this afternoon. He's got no hit stuff right now. Too bad the pitch count is a bit elevated.

Huge call to pull Verlander here. Also makes that incredibly generous strike 3 on Kipnis even bigger as well, otherwise that would be 4 in a row reaching

I'm not sure why Eckersley was so perturbed about Hinch pulling Verlander there. It looks like Verlander was losing some effectiveness and he'd already topped 100 pitches. The way the game is played now that seems to be the right move to make.

Although, I doubt Verlander woulv'e thrown a Wild Pitch there.

Eck is a bit all over the place emotionally though, the guy is far too up and down about everything. He's hard work to listen to

It looks like this one is pretty much over for Cleveland the way it's going right now. BTW I agree Eck is like a guy sitting on the couch with his commentary.
