Severino over Happ, really? Hope they don't regret saving Happ for a series they might never play.

Color me surprised. I wanted Sonny Gray.

My suspicions were correct in that it would be Severino. It was pretty much telegraphed since he didn't pitch his last scheduled start. I'm not sure I like that idea but i'm not the manager.

Oh and

YUCK THE FANKEES!

It's looking more and more like an all bullpen game for the A's. Fiers is the only starter on the roster and it's probably more for an extra inning game, not to come in in the 2nd.

I hope Khris Davis & Co. light Severino the hell up.

Soriano for 4 or 5 innings. Then a bullpen game.

Severino is not who I would have gone with, but hey, if we want to go on a deep run, we're going to need him to be a beast, so might as well get started tomorrow.

I'll be in the ballpark tomorrow. Leaving work the minute I'm allowed to at 2:30, drive about 90 minutes-2 hours to the train station, 2 hour train ride, should get home around 2:30-3 am, wake up at 5 for work the next day. **** it, its win or go home
