I don't know what's going to happen the rest of the game, but I would never have guessed the downfall of this Cubs team would be their offense.

Have you not been reading the bi-weekly threads? You'd think the Cubs couldn't hit their weight the way Cubs fans go on about how feast or famine they are.

I thought Freeland looked a little overmatched by the moment to start but he's really asserted himself in this one. The strike zone to me seems a little inconsistent but at least it's been that way for both teams. Here's hoping Colorado can hold on to the lead and win this one.

I have...it isn't that I'm not aware of their struggles. I'm just saying that if you told me in Spring Training the Cubs would struggle offensively to the level that they have I wouldn't have believed it. A healthy Bryant would have made difference for sure...
