2018 American League Wild Card - New York Yankees vs Oakland A's

Play-in game is set.

Yankees hosting the wild card game for the 3rd time in 4 years.

Hopefully the game is as exciting as the 2014 AL Wild Card game or last year's NL game.

Luis Severino should start. All hands on deck, lets go Yanks!

I had heard he's not starting due to pitching the season finale unless that changes.

I liked Oakland's chances a lot better if this was in their ballpark. I'd actually give the ball to CC or Happ.

I am hoping Happ starts. Lately Severino and Tanaka have been a spin of the wheel on what type performance will unfold.

I think Happ would be the best choice with how he's pitched but the hesitation may be how heave the A's lineup is with dangerous righties.

The A's are a tough matchup but I like our chances. I wouldn't have said that a few weeks ago but I like how we've been playing.

Yankees have finished the season just like I was hoping. everybody is back healthy now. The upstart A's are dangerous with all that hitting. But I think the Yankees bats pose a bigger threat. The whole team is on fire right now.

I'm hoping for Happ to get the start. Both teams might just bash home runs.

Homer pick Yankees: But they better not take Oakland lightly that team has alot of heart and can just flat out hit.
