I don't know if this has been mentioned by the Fox broadcast (with Smoltz in there it MUST have been) but Kershaw threw 10 curveballs and the Red Sox hitters only swung at TWO of them. It sure sounds like they did some major scouting and decided that it's best to lay off that pitch which led to some balls/walks.

Rafael Devers just tied Lou Gehrig, Ryan Howard, and Alex Rodriguez for most consecutive postseason games with an RBI, at 8 games.
