Tough missed call on the 3-2 pitch by Maples. Turns from a 2 out, one on game to 2 on, 1 out. I think if he gets that call, he gets out of the inning.

Re: 5/30 - 6/9 Game Discussion Thread

Can the Jays fastforward 2-3 years so we don't have to witness any more of this sucking?

4th worst in the majors right now. They're on Marlins/O's level of bad. Probably have more than those 2 payrolls combined (thanks alot Tulo/Martin/Morales).

No need to rush the prospects, but they can't come soon enough.

August is when people in this city will probably realize how bad Jays are. Right now it's all about the NBA finals, and in July it's all about free agency in NBA and NHL.

If Jays do want to make some big Stroman/Sanchez deal, now would be perfect time to do it since everyone is focused on Raptors and won't give Jays such huge backlash for a move they need to make.

Re: 5/30 - 6/9 Game Discussion Thread

Vlad Jr's home run tonight was #1120 for the month of May, breaking the record for most home runs in a calendar month.

The previous record was August of 2017 (the year there was a record total of 6105) at 1119, and the record before that was June of 2017 at 1,101.

The Top 5 months in order of total

May 2019- 1135
August 2017- 1119
June 2017- 1101
May 2000- 1069
May 2017- 1060

(2017 was a busy year)

We ain't good enough to look at schedules and think weeks like that are possible, unfortunately.

I have zero desire to see Foltynewicz pitch again. Wish we flipped him this past offseason.

I don't think we'll reach 7000, but 6500 isn't completely out of reality.
