That game was "defense wins championships", baseball version. Not sure I've seen an MLB playoff game where fielding was that decisive.

That looked like a check swing by Altuve on that pitch he got called out on and it's egregious that the HP umpire didn't motion to the 1B umpire. But because it's the Astros I laughed.

Down 3-0. Astros could use all the buzzers and trashcans they want i don't think it would matter. Rays are well on their way to the WS.

I can take a little comfort in that as a Yankees fan. We lost to the possible WS champion.

No that was insane. I've known about Kiermaier for a long time and to me he's the 2nd greatest defensive centerfielder I've ever seen, next to Andruw Jones. High praise I know but it seems he gets to about everything hit near him.

But I wasn't aware how great the overall team was defensively. That game would have easily been a different outcome if it wasn't for that defensive clinic. You even have the ****ing relief pitchers diving making plays lol that's tough.
