Jays get runners on 2nd and 3rd, 0 outs, down by 1, bottom of the 9th.

Next batter strikes out, batter after that grounds into fielders choice and runner at 3B is out after a horrible baserunning decision, although he looked safe on that play.

Final batter of the game with a crazy play. Swing and a miss, bat didnt seem to hit the ball and the ball hits the catcher's mask and the runner goes home...except the umps call a foul ball. The ball never touched the bat! They screwed the Jays twice in back to back pitches!

Yea umps missed that one. Not gonna lie. Yanks will take it. Gary about blew that one.

I’d have to imagine even if an mri comes back clean deGrom will get a stint on the IL. It’s never a good time to lose a pitcher that good but with 9 games in 7 days coming up they need as much pitching as they can get

It amazes me how an ump can literally get hit in the face with a ball, and he along with all other umps agree it's a foul ball despite the ball clearly not touching the bat.
