Ouch, Yankees.

Lost 7 of their last 9 following the win streak.

And because I just saw this on Twitter:

Joey Gallo with the Yankees

.130, 6 HR, 13 RBI, 61 K

To average it out, that's almost strikeouts twice a game with the Yankees!

Yep the only reason they maintain a lead in the Wildcard because Oakland and Boston are scuffling as well.

Toronto really might sneak in. It's all about being hot at this time of year.

Seattle and Toronto are ahead of Oakland right now.

And the scuffling Red Sox are 3 innings away from taking the Wild Card lead and sending the Yankees back to third place in the division.

But I won't make any guarantees, I haven't felt comfortable in the late innings for two months.

I wouldn't say Boston is scuffling. If anything, they're doing better than they should, which I hate.

Since August 20 they've gone 10-6, soon could be 11-6.

Yankees and Rays series will determine Jays fate. If they can win at least 4 of their now 6 remaining vs Yankees, and not completely get embarrassed by the Rays in their 6 remaining games, they stand a chance.

Sox actually lost!

Only 3 back now for the Jays, that's great to see.

Adam Duvall was one guy that AA should never have let walk; glad we got him back. Leads the league in RBI, second in homers, and best defensive OF’r by defensive runs saved metric.
