Pretty unique game between the Mets and Marlins, they’re finishing a game that was suspended in April. It’s been so long since the game started the five of the guys in the Marlins lineup when the game started are no longer on the team

What are the odds…Mets are down two, two men in scoring position in the bottom of the 9th with two outs and of course Baez of all people is coming up. This should be interesting

That must be a real weird boxscore.

What would happen in that instance if say the pitcher of record at the time records a win or loss despite not being part of that team? Does he just randomly have a win added to his stats for the year.

Yeah the pitcher would randomly get the win

The 4/11 box scores are going to reflect that Javy Baez had a hit and RBI for both the Mets and Cubs

I wasn't even thinking of that possibility.

Imagine a pitcher getting a loss and a save in the same game. Don't think win and loss is possible, but loss and save would be.
