Tapia emerged into a red Sox killer.

14RBI in 11 games this season.

Arenado and Goldschmidt can't play in Toronto due to their vaccine status. Just hoping for the Jays to make the playoffs to see who is going to miss games due to not taking the vaccine and getting raked over the coals.

"I would do anything for the team" & "I'm all about winning" my ***.

I'm guessing they'll magically change the rule and make an exception just in time if that happened. Or Manfred will fix the wildcard game to make sure they lose. One or the other lol. Sure as hell won't let them make the World Series.

The Canadian government will make an exception for the Cardinals? I kinda doubt it.

Unvaccinated athletes were allowed temporary "worker" exemptions at one point, so long as they took a PCR test and isolated when not "working" (Robbie Ray was cooped up in the SkyDome Hotel when the Jays returned to Toronto last season), but those expired in January.

The American government has the exact same rule as Canada, BTW: unvaccinated non-citizens aren't allowed to enter the country. Ask Novak Djokovic.

That's one of the funnier parts of all this.

The players who aren't allowed playing are complaining about "Canadian laws", but these are the same laws going both ways.

I love the outrage online from some fans about how unfair this is to their team, not realizing the Jays were a road team for 2 years because of this rule, and part of missing the playoffs last year was because of not having a home game for half of last season.
