Great win for the Sixers after losing Maxey before the end of the 1st half. Great stretch from Embiid in the 14-2 run. Other guys in Melton and Niang stepped up.

But bad stretches by the Bucks in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Giannis's poor FT shooting and settling for quick 3s didn't help. But bad stretches of turnovers and settling

As good as Giannis is I still believe there is just a “feel” aspect he’s missing compared to some of the other all time greats. And even though he’s going to retire one of the best ever, a statically dominant force with the MVPs, rings, best two way guys to play, I still feel like there was a bit of a missed opportunity in not developing him to live in that high post as a scorer/playmaker threat. Very skilled with the ball in his hands at his size but he’s so dependent on having a head of steam.

He’s missed 5-6 back cut passes tonight, maybe that’s just not a pass he has in the bag consistently, but from the high post you can make that pass over the top, even sometimes as a hand off. From 30+ feet you need to be Bron/Joker to pull that off regularly.

I’m saying all that as a nitpick obviously, he was off to a great start tonight and I think had fatigue set in. He’s had an amazing start to the season and on most nights looks like the best player in the league. Not like I’m trying to slam the dude.
